Very good cheap accomodation. Big Clean rooms with all you would want in them. Good choice of breakfasts included in price. Very happy with this one. Close to shops and good food available not too far away.

This hotel is not international standard by any means but on of the best in Savannakhet, large room clean and a modern bathroom I was in room 108a outside wall a lot of noise from the music pub next door, Very little english spoken or understood by the staff, dont bother with the breakfast, its better to get from outside... Good breakfast, clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. The place was fairly empty and we felt like the owners of this provincial hotel. The rooftop has a wonderful view overlooking the Mekong River into Thailand.

Its a big hotel and they'll probably have room.... but you will be over charged for terrible facilities and dreadful service. As for the breakfast - hideous. There are plenty of other options that are 10 times nicer. Don't stay here.

I have stayed many times in this hotel basically since there are not many good choices in Savannakhet city Centre. The building looks nice from outside and it has a spacious reception with space to sit and a free Wi-Fi. This is the positive part of this hotel. Almost every time I stay here there is some trouble with the... More

After a tiring 10 hour bus journey we arrived at the Hoong Thip Hotel. There was no acknowledgement from the staff on the reception desk. They had no idea of our booking or how Agoda.com works. Little or no English is spoken at the hotel which is understandable, that aside it would have been nice to be greeted with at... More

I have never stayed anywhere before with such indifferent poorly motivated staff.None of them had any personality whatsoever and if I asked a question I was made to feel a nuisance. The room was dusty and full of cobwebs.....the bath was rusty although the bed was clean, soft and comfortable. I would recommend that the management send the staff on a... More

Checking into the hotel was more of a .....get these people their room and out of our face type greeting. The staff did not ask to look at our passports, anyone could give false names and passport numbers on the registration form. They do not know who is staying in their hotel. In the evening we had a peristant knock... More
