We visited in February with our 5 month old daughter and her grandparents, it was to be our first family holiday abroad. We had a wonderful week at the hotel, helped by 2 days of snowfall followed by glorious sunshine. We were the only Brits in the hotel but this did not bother us at all, the staff were all... More

Unfortunately we only spent one night in this excellent four-star hotel, better than many five-star establishments. Positioned in the centre of the town, it has good access to local Attractions. All standards at this hotel are of the highest standard, very friendly staff, excellent restaurant, very comfortable rooms with above-average bed and bathroom linen. My only complaint is the swimming... More

Alte Post is a nice hotel in a good location- right at the heart of the village and very conveniently located for the ski bus, which is about 1 minutes walk away. Staff were polite and helpful, breakfast was good and rooms were pleasant and clean. All in all pretty good. However, the spa on the top 2 floors was... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in January 2013 on a long weekend skiing break, booked with Snowscape. We had a large comfortable double room, very clean and warm. No tea or coffee making facilities which is typical of european hotels so wished we had remembered our travel kettle! After unpacking we made our way straight to the wellness suite which... More

I stayed at the Hotel Alte Post on 20 September 2011 in the main section of the building. The price we got (EUR 81, including breakfast for 2), which was the price for a standard room but judging from the size of the room, it was larger than the 20 sqm indicated for a standard room and may therefore have... Rooms were more like a 3 star old fashioned however very very clean. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. The prices of a tea or coffee were expensive. I had a cold and needed hot water for Lemsip and was charged for hot water at the bar. However I questioned this on the bill at... More

This hotel is friendly, well run, clean and very comfortable. It is family run and we were made to feel very special, the food was exceptional and there is plenty of it, the menu is all in German so some knowlegde of the language is helpful but the staff are always willing to explain what is on offer, the fillet...
