Wow, the chef and his colleagues her created something unique. I'm not a big hotel restaurant fan but this is unique. The chef is obviously in his element here; his altar is a big charcoal grill in the restaurant kitchen where he creates mouthwatering masterpieces. Charcoalicious! Côte de Bœuf is very reasonably priced. Hotel room good as well!

We had a good stay in Almere. I asked and got a quiet room and we slept well despite being there on several lively nights. There was some noise but it was not bad. Top flop or seems to work well. Breakfasts were good, staff attentive and helpful, place was clean and fresh, restaurant had interesting decor.

The hotel could do with a much larger sign as the tiny door sticker was hard to find. The hotel is set about 20 yards from ATM and has a Chinese restaurant next door, there is traffic noise during the. Day but not in evenings. Ideal for city shopping being only 100 yards from main shopping and dining areas. The... More

My wife and two of our children visited the Amsterdam area for four days to visit friends and sightsee in Amsterdam on the way to a conference that she was attending in De Poort. We stayed in Almere, a small community outside of Amsterdam 20 minutes by train and near our friends home. As chance would have it, we stayed... More

Rooms are comfortable and the shower was particularly nice! The hotel is next to and near the local nightlife so there is a noise issue - less of a problem if you are a party person of course, but for business you might want to look elsewhere. Nice selection of teas for the breakfast! Nice place !

We were in Almere for a convention and the hotel was booked for us by the convention. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The room wasn't big, but it was enough for what we needed. The room was new and clean and it was nice having a good coffee in the room (single serve - Nespresso type). We... More

The advantage of the hotel is that it is in the city center but because of that it is also very noisy especially on the weekends. The hotel has the charme of a hostel. The breakfast is very simple. The room layout is a bit strange also the basic colour gras-green. If you travelling by car you have to park... More

The hotel is in a shopping/office area, very unattractive. The rooms are cheaply decorated, formica-type furniture, soft spongy narrow mattrasses - real backbreakers - but more importantly, not clean. Toiletseat in disrepair, washbasin clogged and dirty, shower splatters water on floor of the tiny bathroom, dangerously. Dirty floorcarpet, big hole in the bedlinen (!!). Breakfast with factory-bread, cheap cheese, unappetizing... More

We came here for Challenge Almere and when we booked it was the last room available in the city so we did not have many options. However, we were very content with the hotel. The rooms were spacious enough for us and our luggage (one big bag and one bike case). The wardrobe was quite small. We liked the fact... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, it's good located, in the center, downtown, there are many clubs arround, so it's normal that during the week end it can became noisy till very late night. The Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The room I got was not so large, but enough comfortable for me. The quality... More
