I had an over ought stay for business in Copenhagen. Arriving quite late in the evening service was very friendly and helpful. Room was great. My stat was brief but high standard and I would definitely stay again

Our superior double room was light, spacious and comfortable with an easy chair and a sofa. The bathroom was huge, with an over-bath shower and two basins. Bathrobes, safe and complimentary drinks in the fridge were a very nice extra touch. Our room overlooked the courtyard but it wasn't the weather for sitting outside so it was wonderfully quiet -... Avenue Q is a boutique hotel just outside of city center (one stop on the metro-- metro being a 10minute walk away, which is painless in good weather/without luggage; there is also a bus stop outside the hotel, but not as efficient to get where you need to as a tourist, obvioiusly). The lobby and back terrace area have a... More

The Avenue Hotel was just perfect for us. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a Superior double room on 4th floor. A lovely spacious room at the front.Others comment that the road is noisy but it is on a main road out of the city!! Forum metro and bus stop are but a few minutes walk. The staff, and... More

Comfortable room (superior double). Good, fresh selection at breakfast. Great coffee! Staff very friendly and efficient - printing off train timetables etc., and booking restaurants. Well located, but be prepared for a 15 minutes walk back from main tourist spots, or taking the underground. Negatives? Almost too minor to mention, but the hotel might take then on board: - we... The location just outside the centre made this a good value hotel. Close proximity to bus and metro gave easy access to downtown and attractions. The city is flat and ideal for walking and the excellent cycle routes. Attractive public areas and terrace. Friendly staff. The room was spotless and comfortable but facing the front of the hotel meant it was... More

Stayed here as we had 8 years ago as it is just across the street from where my brother lived. Just outside the city but a 20min walk to the centre and plenty of buses to take you where you want to. Staff excellent in helpfulness and English excellent as well. Reception area, lounge and outside patio all very good,... More

All staff spoke English and all their recommendations to eat and visit where fantastic. Hired bikes and rode around the lakes nearby - a real must to feel like a... More

Nice hotel, very well located near downtown and very accessible by bus or subway. The atmosphere is very nice, very helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. Has a nice area outside to relax or have a drink. The room was very good, the bathroom rather small but not to the point of inconvenience. It is and excellent option.

Stayed 3 nights with a group of friends early July. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Excellent service. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh. Could eat inside or go out onto the terrace, curl up on one of their comfy sofas. Very relaxing atmosphere, could really chill out here and this is what we did after a long day of... More
