This hotel would be great if it were closer to the old city. Yes, it's easy to get there (bus right outside the hotel, or a direct 20ish minute walk), but after a lot of traveling, tourists might want to be closer to the sights. However, it is nice that it's located centrally between the old city (to the East)... More

Enjoyed our first night in Copenhagen at the Avenue Hotel. Trendy, inviting lobby and bar area, perfect for a glass of wine to plan the next day. Rooms on the courtyard side have high ceiling, large window and are comfortable and adequately sized for two for a reasonable price compared to others. Great water pressure in the shower, friendly helpful... More

We stayed here over the weekend in early September. It is slightly out of the way but easy enough to get to. It seemed to be heavily used by ladies who shop at the weekend, probably more of a business hotel during the week. The reduced weekend rates suggest that anyway. They have bikes available for hire but we didn't... More

Nice bar, friendly staff, breakfast like Howard Johnson's.very mediocre room and amenities, just far enough from everything to be completely useless. Checked out after 1 night having paid for 5 and went elsewhere. ( no they didn't offer me a refund) sort of hotel commercial travellers may use, totally useless for tourists, stay in old city. Not a bad Hotel... More

I had an over ought stay for business in Copenhagen. Arriving quite late in the evening service was very friendly and helpful. Room was great. My stat was brief but high standard and I would definitely stay again

Our superior double room was light, spacious and comfortable with an easy chair and a sofa. The bathroom was huge, with an over-bath shower and two basins. Bathrobes, safe and complimentary drinks in the fridge were a very nice extra touch. Our room overlooked the courtyard but it wasn't the weather for sitting outside so it was wonderfully quiet -... Avenue Q is a boutique hotel just outside of city center (one stop on the metro-- metro being a 10minute walk away, which is painless in good weather/without luggage; there is also a bus stop outside the hotel, but not as efficient to get where you need to as a tourist, obvioiusly). The lobby and back terrace area have a... More

The Avenue Hotel was just perfect for us. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a Superior double room on 4th floor. A lovely spacious room at the front.Others comment that the road is noisy but it is on a main road out of the city!! Forum metro and bus stop are but a few minutes walk. The staff, and... More

Comfortable room (superior double). Good, fresh selection at breakfast. Great coffee! Staff very friendly and efficient - printing off train timetables etc., and booking restaurants. Well located, but be prepared for a 15 minutes walk back from main tourist spots, or taking the underground. Negatives? Almost too minor to mention, but the hotel might take then on board: - we... The location just outside the centre made this a good value hotel. Close proximity to bus and metro gave easy access to downtown and attractions. The city is flat and ideal for walking and the excellent cycle routes. Attractive public areas and terrace. Friendly staff. The room was spotless and comfortable but facing the front of the hotel meant it was... More
