This was a pretty decent hotel. The showers leaked terribly, and there was never any toilet paper around, but the rooms themselves were nice and served their purpose. Reception didn't seem to follow any sort of hours so it was hard to catch someone and the kitchens were sparse in what they offered as there was no dishes or utensils... More

Really Old Hotel with average customer service. Not worth the money you pay for it.The location was good though but the amenities were old and the shared bathroom faccilities were not the best. Overall i would recommend you choose other low budget hotels in Copenhagen.

It's more of a hostel than an actual hotel - shared bathroom and everything, but considering the price and location, it's works well as a base for exploring Copenhagen for a few days. Wifi didn't work properly though.

We stayed here for two nights in August, and weren't particularly fussy. However, looking back it stacks up poorly. No internet, overpriced, badly insulated, and a way away from anywhere worthwhile. Bathrooms were bad, and the room had one bad lock, so wasn't entirely .Staff were pretty useless too. There are better places to stay, don't waste your time here.

We were here on a double bedroom on the second floor last week for a night. We were thinking on staying for 2, but after what we saw we were too scared to even stay more than what we had already paid for. There is no luggage room, no bar, no internet... Reception was closed for most of the time... More

No internet connection at all!! Just 2 shared toilets and and showers for almost 10 rooms or more in each floor ( dark and matchbox). Buliding is very old, it fails to impress you. You have to pay for your room in cash only! Which is not convenient at all. It is not even a hostel!! location wise is located... More

We've been at this hostel in early May, in a 4-bed room at the third and last floor of an old and smelly building. We paid the full amount before entering the room. The corridor smelled of smoke and was creaky. The doors of the rooms are askew with large gaps at the bottom or above. The floor of the... More

Do not book this hotel, it's a trap! The reception was closed upon arrival and we could not check in. There was no information that the reception is closed on weekends. A nightmare for those who do not find alternative accommodation. Moreover it felt like a tacky place.

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighborhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
