I have stayed here many, many times while working in the area,I have never been disapointed with this hotel. Ok! it's only 3 star but the rooms have always been clean, the Breakfasts good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The only downside was (I don't know if it's changed)but they didn't do evening meals, which wasn't a problem because just up the... Find somewhere else to stay, food and housting appalling, accommodation dated . Owner is trying to sell the business and telling his life story to all who will listen , family issues, mother in Spain and separation from his wife and grown up children . ….Just what we wall need -NOT !

Pet friendly and made very welcome with my dog who was allowed in most areas of the hotel, clean warm room, with a very homely feel with the wood burning fire in the guest lounge, good parking, very helpful and welcoming staff would stay again if in the area.

I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for one night. Their website states "dedicated to dispensing hospitality, comfort & good food". I was allocated room 3. It took my breath away - very stale smelling! Their website states "newly renovated guest rooms", but this was far from it. The room was far from comfortable - it was very... More

Seriously, avoid this place. We turned up in the afternoon and there was nobody at reception nor in the rest of the hotel; we called the number provided and the off-hand gentlemen who answered told us to wait for 5 minutes, he was off picking up a car. We took off to see my Mother who is staying nearby as... More

My mother-in-law has always used this hotel to visit relatives. Not the best hotel, but had a decent sized family room. Breakfast was never good, so always ate elsewhere. Early June she made a booking for this July for 2 large rooms for a family get-together. However, 2 weeks before we were due to stay, the owner rang to say... More

this place smacks of fawlty towers. Me and a colleague stayed in separate rooms, and there was never enough hot water for us both to shower. Tea tasted awful, the uht milk in the room had curdled and breakfast was dull (and most of the products out of date). It was clean and comfy but far from pleasant. Nowhere really... More

Stayed here while attending a course at RAF Lakenheath. Easy to book - online via their website or telephone, if you prefer to speak to a human being. I had a family room as this was all that was available for the period I needed to stay. The hotel has a car park at the rear, the room was nice... More
