Never have my Wife and I enjoyed such quirky wonderful hidden Gem of a place before. Everyone who works there makes you feel very welcome. In an age of theme pubs and corporate Inns, Harefield Hall is second to none by a country mile. The atmosphere is delightful, whether you are outside taking in the spectacular views of Nidderdale or... More

Do you want a quiet, classy place to stay for a weekend away? Harefield hall is the place to go. Its quiet bar with its roaring fire makes for a great night in. We had a great night with landlords Mike and Elaine whose great taste in music made the night fly by. Great selection of ales to peak the... More

From Pateley Bridge towards Harrogate, do the Panorama walk then all the way down to a pleasant walk by the river and into Harefield Hall for lunch. A warm welcome awaits and dogs also welcome. Excellent lunch, good service. Pity they can't seem to sort out the smoking fire. However, it won't deter us from going back.

Hi there Tracy, thanks for the review it was great meeting you both, I was lucky enough (and indeed yourselves) to be spared the humiliation of donning guitar and singing 'Happy Birthday' to your Husband in the restaurant, as I have done in the past for various folks. This 'privilage' is reserved for 'pretty ladies' only these days….when's your Birthday!!... More

Stayed overnight on a business trip and was booked into Harefield Hall by my company. My room was lovely, with a superb view over the valley onto the hills on the far side. Room perfect, spacious and extremely well serviced and well equipped. I dined in the bar area in the evening, and had breakfast in the lovely conservatory with... More

We stayed at Harefield Hall with a group of friends and had a fantastic time. Our room was lovely, with superb views. Very well appointed and very spacious and clean. We dined that even in the restaurant and the food was delicious. We couldn't have asked for more. Hospitality was outstanding, can't wait to return.

We ate there on a Sunday with my Mother-in-law. The service was really good with pleasant, efficient staff. We ordered roast with the lovely option of ham. Such a nice change for the usual offerings. The ham was tender and the veg cooked to perfection. We did notice that the menu we looked at on the internet was a bit... More

CIGARETTE SMOKE…….I DON'T THINK SO!!!! Thanks for the mostly great review Karen, however I was baffled by the Cigarette Smoke accusation!! Like all other venues in the UK we are 'none smoking'. I believe I know why you may have thought you smelt cigarette smoke. Over the last few weeks we have had problems with the open fire 'smoking' badly.... More
