The Yorke arms is a wonderful building to look at with wonderful gardens.you are met with a smile. The staff were very efficient. The food was excellent Mitchell star at its best. You pay for what you get. But we'll worth a visit. For that special day

I chose the Yorke Arms for our first Michelin star restaurant experience. It was my partners 30th birthday, we really enjoy going out for a nice meal, we love traditional seasonal food so the Yorke Arms seemed to fit the bill. I had read glowing reviews and was excited about our visit. We were driving from Harrogate at 6.30pm which... More

This was a lovely Sunday lunch. A perfect little restaurant with beautiful exterior. They were very accommodating to our needs and moved us to the main restaurant when we were sat in a different room with less atmosphere. The food was lovely. My starter was one of the best I've had. They also got me extra vegetables when requested. Not... More

We've stayed in this hotel a couple of times and we're always so impressed with the quality of the food, wine and service - nothing is too much trouble. The cheese board is amazing and highly recommended (even though I had no idea I was sitting next to it all evening!).

Went with my Husband as a special treat at the end of July, but keep forgetting to do a write up and only remembered when my husband told me he has booked us in for a meal again, so Must write about the first experience. We found it in the Michelin guide and it was Hubby birthday so as it's... More

Rude, rude, rude! After an 8 mile walk my Husband and I were definitely ready for a well deserved glass of wine and a bite to eat. To be told that the kitchen was closed at 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon and not even asked if we would like a drink is absolutely shocking service. To be shooed away with... More

We visited The Yorke Arms some time ago and promised ourselves a return visit. Our 25th Anniversary provided a great excuse to treat ourselves. This restaurant with rooms is close to Pately Bridge. Approaching the village you drive along a beautiful reservoir/lake, which begins to set the scene for a relaxing break. The Yorke Arms is an incredibly picturesque building,... More

Having come off the Moors after a 10 mile hike, we came across the Yorke Arms and thought to have a well earned drink and a meal. The name suggests a public house. There was no indication it was an exclusive restaurant with no proper bar. We were made to feel unworthy of their attention. May I suggest a notice... More

The food and the tasting menu in particular were outstanding - in retrospect should have chosen either the half-flight of wines or selected own wine to accompany the tasting menu. Quantity rather than quality evident in the full flight of wine. Stayed in Ghyll cottage nearby (four adults) - cheaper and very comfortable, but smaller bedroom needs more hooks, hangers... More

We had a fantastic meal at the Michelin Star restaurant which you really could not fault but made the mistake of booking a room to stay over. Room was clean but very small, and price was excessive. Cost included a £50 contribution towards the evening meal and we paid an extra £30 to have the taster menu but after taking... More
