The cleanliness of our room, Glynne, and the other facilities was excellent. It was a very hot night and despite opening all of the windows I didn't sleep well as the quilt was too heavy and warm for me. Nik slept like a log though. The Coach House is well situated and handy for a short walk to local pubs... More

We were delighted with our room (Springfield), which was very well appointed and comfortable BUT for us the breakfast arrangements were less than ideal. An equipped kitchen with table & 4 chairs stocked with Cereals, breads and eggs provided for you to select and prepare. Not serviced. More than 2 would be a crowd. Did not suit us but fine... More

Myself and my 2 friends have just stayed at the Coach House for 2 nights. We have had the best weekend and really enjoyed out stay. The accommodation was 1st class, so clean, fresh, modern and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The owners (I won't say their names on here) are so lovely and couldn't have been more... More

I was in the Springfield room for two nights: the place is really pretty and clean, Claire is really kind and I had the key of the room so I was independent! There is a kitchen were you can cook your lunch/dinner, a shop in the center of Hawarden (5min walk) and a supermarket near Hawarden (15 min walk). I... More

We stayed in the Springfield suite for two nights the place is so nice, lovely big room and en suite. Shared kitchen stocked with everything you need for a continental breakfast. The Owner Clare really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is amazing, ran by Clare who is a very nice. We had the Glynne roo.m which is a small cosy room with a great view. The bathroom is superb with a huge bath. The communal lounge is a pleasure to sit in also.

We stayed at this lovely house last night as we were attending a friends 40th birthday party in Shotton, on our arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner Claire who showed us around and gave us some recommendations on where to eat, and even ordered a taxi for us when we went out later, the house is beautiful and... We stayed in the newly renovated en suite ground floor family room for one night with our two year old. The bedroom was a generous size with two sofas (convertible to beds) centred around the TV and a wood burning stove. The bathroom was finished to a very high specification with double sinks and a lovely rainwater shower. The remainder... More

A friend and I stayed at the Coach House for one night on a recent visit to northern Wales. The rooms were lovely, the beds heavenly, and Clare, the owner, is delightful. Having access to the kitchen rather than having to wait for an appointed breakfast time like many B&Bs meant I could go down and make myself a cup... More

My husband and I stayed at The Coach House for just one night as part of my birthday celebrations. Having read the description of the property we knew it was shared occupancy accommodation, and this did not bother us in the slightest. The house itself is beautiful, with a kitchen fitted with everything you would need and a living room... More
