This was the ideal place for my wife and I, and was the best highlight from our trip to Italy (my second). The most important factor for me is hospitality, and Paulo hit this out of the park. We were greeted and treated with the attention of a superb host. The next most important factor for me was connection with... More

Louise M is my sister. Ditto to all she said. Pat and Paolo are wonderful hosts but most of all they are wonderful people. Not just instructor chef and tour guide. We feel like we now have close friends in sunny Tuscany. If you are looking for breath-taking views out your bedroom window, leisurely touring of out of the way... More

My sister and I travel every summer and this summer she wanted to take a cooking class in Tuscany. She wanted a small, quiet, family style place and Tasty Tuscany fit that to a "T"!! About 10 days before we were to leave our oldest sister passed away. Our family insisted that we continue with our plans. With a very... More

Tasty Tuscany is at the end of a country road that meanders past sunflower fields, vineyards, and eventually an olive orchard with trees that are hundreds of years old. We went to this remote agritourismo to rejuvenate, learn about Italian cuisine, meet people that care about their craft, and breathe in the peaceful Tuscan air. We found all of this... More

I have at the beggining of search quite high demands what kind of destination I would like to go. Here are some of them: 1. authentical Tuscany cusine and dishes taught by local person 2. small group of students 3. typical Tuscany farm villa which has nothing to do with classic small hotels' offers. I confess that after one month... More

My parents wanted a trip to Tuscany with cooking classes. Tasty Tuscany was perfect. I had been to Italy a few times and was looking forward to a more intimate glimpse at the country. My parents wanted this trip for their 50th anniversary. They were looking for guided tours and cooking classes. My siblings and I preferred a more independent... More

We had wonderful time cooking with Patrizia and Paolo. We came with 3 children, all of them could experience preparing tuscanian meal together with us. We didn't stay overnight, came especially to enjoy family time in the kitchen. The place is located in the wonderful location so you could also enjoy awsome views from top of the hill, while having... More

I will start by stating that i spent a great deal of time reading reviews before choosing this venue. I read some very negative reviews and mostly superlative reviews and thought " These cannot be about the same place". We arrived Sunday after 2 days at Portovenere while our adult children spent 2 days in Rome. We all arrived separately.... More

We had a wonderful vacation at Tasty Tuscany in late March/early April 2014. The combination is perfect: (1) relaxed and friendly hospitality, based in a hilltop villa, (2) daytime excursions to places most people do not get to see, supported by Paolo's comprehensive descriptions covering history, culture, and economics, and (3) Pat's great cooking, using local produce and ingredients in... This was one of the highlights of a month long vacation throughout Europe. The hosts were fantastic from Paolo picking us up at the airport, champagne on arrival, Patricia's magnificent meals, the visit to the market to pick up the food for dinner, the amazing conversation and laughing every meal. Lots of herbs growing in the lovely gardens. Fantastic view.... More
