I first met Paolo and Manul almost eight years ago, when I spent a fabulous week at Tasty Tuscany. So when we thought about offering a writing workshop in Tuscany, I contacted them immediately with the idea. Manul and Paolo usually operate Tasty Tuscany as a vacation getaway and cooking school, but with us they made a special arrangement to... More

As planned Paolo picked me up at the Pontedera train station. His van was filled to the max with five people (1 returning couple) and luggage. Laughter, stories and confirmation I made the right choice selecting Tasty Tuscany while in the van before even reaching the Villa. The pictures online didn't do any justice for the property, it was magnificent.... More

A six-night stay at Tasty Tuscany makes me want more. The house is lovely, the landscape is gorgeous, and the hosts (Manul and Paolo) are charming and gracious. Manul makes fabulous food and is a wonderful teacher. She focusses on delicious and healthy food using the freshest ingredients in season. Paolo is a witty and engaging guide to the area.... More

Pat (Manul) and Paulo of Tasty Tuscany are the most amazing hosts. Pat's cooking classes, were a lot of fun, accompanied by good music and even dancing one night while we waited for our entree to bake. The menus were well thought out and tasty, of course. Paulo definitely made our trip very interesting as we drove around various towns... More

I spent two weeks in Italy and one of them spent at Tasty Tuscany. It was a wonderful way to indulge my senses, enjoy the quiet life, and explore the area. The accommodations were perfect, comfortable, and provided exactly the sort of experience one would hope for while staying in a stone Tuscan farmhouse. Pat and Paolo were gracious and... More

We had a wonderful time staying at Tasty. We stayed 3 nights and did 1 a la carte cooking class. Everything was outstanding. The hosts in particular were extremely warm and welcoming. For example, my dad was feeling under the weather and Pat went out of her way and made him an herbal broth to sooth his sinuses. That is... More

This was the ideal place for my wife and I, and was the best highlight from our trip to Italy (my second). The most important factor for me is hospitality, and Paulo hit this out of the park. We were greeted and treated with the attention of a superb host. The next most important factor for me was connection with... More

Louise M is my sister. Ditto to all she said. Pat and Paolo are wonderful hosts but most of all they are wonderful people. Not just instructor chef and tour guide. We feel like we now have close friends in sunny Tuscany. If you are looking for breath-taking views out your bedroom window, leisurely touring of out of the way... More

My sister and I travel every summer and this summer she wanted to take a cooking class in Tuscany. She wanted a small, quiet, family style place and Tasty Tuscany fit that to a "T"!! About 10 days before we were to leave our oldest sister passed away. Our family insisted that we continue with our plans. With a very... More

Tasty Tuscany is at the end of a country road that meanders past sunflower fields, vineyards, and eventually an olive orchard with trees that are hundreds of years old. We went to this remote agritourismo to rejuvenate, learn about Italian cuisine, meet people that care about their craft, and breathe in the peaceful Tuscan air. We found all of this... More
