We travelled to the Mercia Region of Spain to see the fantastic Semana Santa Easter Processions in Lorca. Due to the excessive prices of the hotels in Lorca around this time of year and our ambition to be by the beach, we booked in Aguilas which is only 30 minutes easy drive away. Our choice of hotel was indeed a... More

We have stayed many times at different times of the year and have always enjoyed the buffet breakfast, the superb lounges, the pool outdoor or inside depending on time of year, the view of the sea and the friendliness of the staff. There is an hourly mini bus to the port and various attractions. But a stroll along the passeo... More

the hotel was in a good location for the golf, but sadly not for the very attractive main area of the village. The walk along the seafront/promenade was lovely to go into the main area tho. We had a sea facing room which is a must. All ares of the hotel were kept clean. The breakfast was excellent with a... More

In early March as I drove down the Mediterranean coast of Spain, I spotted the hotel's billboard, phoned them from my rent car to insure a vacancy and the price. Half an hour later, I checked into my deluxe room for two nights at US$48 per night, hot breakfast and inside parking including. It was March 2014. A delicious buffet... More

Had an enjoyable day in Aquilas so decided to stay over. Booked the room half board through booking .com, 102 euros for a double room. The ensuite room was more than adequate, a little dated perhaps but clean and tidy, spotless towels etc. The hotel was very well equipped and furnished and sat just on the harbour side, although it... I stayed at this hotel for one night in September with my husband and young daughter. The hotel is clean. The staff were not particularly friendly and I felt like I was putting them out every time I asked a question. The rooms was very big. I had booked a double with an extra bed but got a suite with... We liked: + Location: close to the marine and not far from the beach from one side, proximity to the main street of Aguilas town leading downtown + Very good hotel facilities + Very good sports facilities including diving club + Good breakfast + Reasonably priced buffet type lunch and dinner (although the dining area staff is not very friendly... Great hotel, although the pool wasn't open. It caters mainly for Spanish travellers I believe. The spa staff, although they were very helpful and lovely, didn't speak English. At times like that it makes me embarrassed I don't speak any Spanish so no biggy. Breakfast was nice. A great base for having a look round this area of Spain.
