We spent just the one night in this hotel. Basically every thing was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only downside was the knock and opening of the door by the cleaner at the door at 9.30, half a hour before checkout. We were almost caught in a compromising position.

Stayed for 2 nights on a recent trip and was very happy with the hotel and service. The rooms are very clean and tidy with black out curtains if you want a sleep in. Nice big shower and plenty of hot water. The hotel is only a short 5 minute stroll to a large shopping mall with some good eating... More

The hotel was easy to find, and in close proximity to shops and local pubs (5 min walk). Room was basic but had everything you would expect, iron, fridge, block out curtains, etc double bed was very comfy and the large shower was wonderful, hate those bath type showers! The room was quiet despite being on the road. I was... More

We started our new life in Australia on 31st August 2012, our first week was spent in the City Hotel, which we found to be very good for our requirements. The staff were all friendly and approachable giving valuable information about the local destinations we required when starting a new life.

I checked in in the middle of September. Spent about 2 weeks there. The ladies that work there are great. Ate dinner every night in the restaurant.Very accomodating to my gluten free diet. Food was very good. Walking distance to a beautiful regional park full of wildlife. Train just a few blocks away. I had nothing but a positive experience.... More

Nowhere on their website does it say reception shuts at 8pm so a business traveller from the East is in the dark. Hasty phone messages with a code for a box in the car park and a hard to hear phone number if it all goes wrong. It was pouring down when I arrived at 9pm and dark. I had... More

I arrived just on 8pm to find reception had closed. I had received a message advising me to walk around the back through the car park to get to a safe box and retrieve my keys. I didn't like walking at night in an unfamiliar place. I don't see why the safety box can't be at the front of the... More

We have taken your suggestions into consideration. To reduce the amount of guests that can not gain access into our hotel we have installed a intercom. We have these at both doors to ensure access is quick and easy. We thank you for providing us with feedback on ways to improve our hotel. More

Medium sized "executive" rooms were $189.00 and only had a firm Double Bed. Nice pillows thou. New 32" LCD TV with foxtel but only a single lounge chair to watch it from. Bathroom was a great size and well laid out. Shower was great. Restaurant was well priced with the food being good. The $5 dessert is well worth it!

I was recently on business for a couple of weeks north of Perth so the location of this hotel suited my needs. The rooms were your basic hotel room, but I have to say that the double bed was VERY comfortable. The reception staff was very helpful and courteous and helped with any requests I had. The cleaning staff did... More

We stayed at Joondalup City Hotel for 2 nights. At $200 a night (not cheap for Perth) we had a basic room which is just what we needed as we were out and about all day and only needing the place at night to sleep. Room was fine, Double Bed, TV, coffee making facilities, mini bar table and chair, and... More
