Booked a romantic weekend away with my partner and wasn't disappointed!! The lodge was spacious and I absolutely loved the mezzanine floor level overlooking the rest of the place. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The only slight downside was the shower. More of a drip really. If it was upgraded to a power shower then I wouldn't be... More

First night okay but second morning the shower didn't work. No phone in the room and Reception only reached by a walk outside so not advisable in pyjamas! Nobody picking up reception phone so thank goodness I hadn't had an accident. as it was, a strip wash in the sink necessary!! Response from Angela Milton? "It's only a shower and... More

Stayed at one of the rooms for 3 days whilst visiting the area with my wife. We needed to go to Weston SM and it seemed a logical place to form a base. Room was fine, clean and with all the facilities that we needed. We decided to order breakfast, which was pre ordered the night before, and was excellent.... More

Found Milton's Lodge at the last minute after previous arrangements in Bristol fell through and we had an early morning flight. The twin room was nicely appointed, the owner most kind and accommodating, the price was very reasonable, and it was less than 15 minutes to the airport. It's out in the country in a lovely area. Very quiet and... More

Well, What Can I say? We booked this literally at the very last minute due to a "Mis-Booking" involving a local hotel. Well if this was the result of a mistake (ie we had to look very quickly for some where else) this is the best result we have ever had. We rang up, Booked the room. On arrival (about... More

Just booked this for tonight as ive stayed here once before on business. Lovely welcome on the phone to book, good attention to detail and appropriate questions asked to try and make my stay comfortable. The lady I dealt with to book the room is the owner and she's obviously on the ball.

We stayed here for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. The bathroom looks like it had recently been refurbished and the living room suite was modern and comfortable. We only saw one member of staff our entire stay but she as helpful and accommodating. Only real gripes are very insignificant - I forgot my hairdryer and the one... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay. Milton's is what it says on the tin - exceptionally spacious, comfortable, clean accommodation. We do not claim to be luxurious or boutique & our room rates reflect this. Apologies about the hairdrier. We previously provided top of the range & they disappeared, Consequently... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were lovely and clean, nicely decorated and breakfast the next day was great- full English with good variety of options.

We stayed here recently and it was very pleasant. The staff were friendly & welcoming. Offered to book us into a local restaurant for dinner & arrange a taxi (which we didn't need) but it was a nice touch. We had one of the cottages which was huge. Very comfortable & spacious, had our lounge with lots of beams &... More

Miltons has a quaint country cottage feel about it. The rooms are converted stables and decorated tastefully and appropriate to the an old english B&B. This is not a modern plastic Travel Lodge type of place. I found it charming. The farm fields surrounding the place are picturesque and the cows very friendly. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful... More
