I really cant abide hotels that masquerade at something they are not. This is clearly the case with Rapo's Resort Hotel in Himare Albania. No internet, exept from The lobby. The restaurant is very poorly equiped and they dont have half of the food on the menu. The staff speeks bad english, and It's difficult to communicate with Them.The pool is good, but thats just enough to qualify for 5 stars. 3 is more than enough!

The only good thing about Rapo's is the pool and NOTHING else. The restaurant is way too expensive for the Albanian standards and portions are ridicolous. The rooms are small and definitely not worth for 5 stars. The road to the sea is annoying and one must watch out not to get hurt from the stones:( I don't recommend it

This hotel is perhaps the best you will find in Himare. A little bit overpriced for the region but if you need some western standard its worth. We spent two nights in winter there - as the only guests in the hotel and paying a very reasonable amount of less than 50 EUR per night. I enjoyed evry minute even my son son wanted to extend more but our time was limited and i was there for 6days 23-28 aug 2011 it is worth coming here and you are close to everything
