I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 days on a business trip. I was thrilled to find that it is extremely clean, the food is good and the wifi is available even in the rooms. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and helpful that it made the one and only rude and unhelpful person stand out like a... More

I stayed in the Margaritha Palace for about a week on a work trip. It is a solid option for Lira and seems to be popular with the NGO crowd, based on the number of white Land Cruiser in the parking lot. The rooms were comfortable, the water was hot once in a while, and internet worked sometimes. But you... More

It was my fourth time at the hotel again however like before I was still charmed by the splendor of the place and the friendly and caring staff. A center of peace and calmness, it has a great garden area, good restaurant with gorgeous meals, and interesting enough was high speed wireless internet. The rooms were spacious, adequately cleaned and... More

I am an International Aid worker who was unfortunate enough to be moved to this hotel at the last minute because of electricity issues at the place I was originally booked into. I arrived at the hotel at 7:30pm and had an 8pm meeting in the hotel's restaurant. After being told by the receptionist that they did not have anywhere... More

Thanks for taking your time to express your feelings. As management, We also do apologize for the unfortunate incident that befell your stay at the hotel. As you may agree, there has never been such an incident at the hotel. It is unfortunate that your review expresses more of a heartfelt hunger than reflect actual standard of the hotel. However,... Sorry for the inconveniences you faced due to absence of wifi at the hotel. This was only a temporary problem coming from our ISP, who explained they were upgrading their 3G equipments; our attempts to change to another ISP would not help because all were faced with similar bottlenecks. However, the network is now ok More

Being a professional development worker one get confronted with a range of different service levels if comes to rural accommodation. Mostly some of those are related to the limited training given to upcountry hotel staff and lack of exposure. Arriving at one of the most fancy hotels in Lira I expected a quick registration and keys to my room in... More

Sorry for the inconvenience you went through. However, it is a government directive and our policy that all our guests, be it national or international guests, should have proper documents for identification. It's unfortunate though that you did not have any at all, and this was totally against our nation's and our own policy. As management, we request you to... More

Friendly staff and atmosphere. The shower was not working in the first room I was given so was changed to another. Looking at security it would be easy to climb from on balcony over to my room and get in to the room which i dont like. Ordered pork for dinner and it was more fat than meat and no... More

This was my second stay at the hotel. The staff right through from the Hotel Manager to the cleaners are very warm and friendly. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in Lira, the rooms here are very clean, cozy and comfortable. I loved the hot showers the most.
