One of My favorite spots on earth! A nice modern hotel with possible cabins or campground, fight next to the raid river. You can see the waterfall from the hotel, and there is a pathway all the way up.

We went there for à la carte dining and enjoyed it. Service was very friendly and professional. There is not so much choice. The country beeing Sweden, prices are moderate. The quality is good, the angus beef was delightful, Short winelist and the ones that could be ordered by glass were better than most other places, red wine served just... More

a beautiful hotel with stunning views,,,,now im going to be very honest here...food is ok but not much choice at all, breakfast is mainly continental, can get bacon, sausage, and scrambled egg but certainly not uk style,,,its not a moan,, just adding a uk opinion. evening meals are by buffet or a la carte menu. Still not brilliant but this... More

I have been there twice, once in summer and once in winter Summer: The rapid is magnificent and really loud. I went to a concert, Diggiloo, and the stage is in the part of the rapid that is (fairly) dry during the summer. The audience is sitting on the cliffs above it. Rare and unique place for a concert. It... More

We've stayed in this hotel several times with and without children. The staff is friendly, food is good (they are always willing to prepare me some veggie food, too), rooms ok and the nature is gorgeous. The atmosphere at the hotel is great and I love the quietness at the premises and around. If you're in to rock climbing, check... More

Storforsen is good; * good food * good view * good people * good drinks Also you can do Snow mobiling. There are two parts in the Hotel, better to choose the newer rooms which are made in 2005 with waterfall view. Room needs an upgrade a little bit. No minibar in the rooms and only 5 free tv channels... More

Breath taking views. Room was nice, very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Food was nice but not amazing selection. Would defintely visit again with family just for the beautiful surroundings. There was a path which was set out for walkers that were not serious walkers! It was 2km there and back and worth a walk as great views. Defintely recommend.

I travelled one week along the old Midnightsun route from Alta (Norway) to Piteå (Sweden) to make some video shootings and during the trip in the almost the middle of nowhere we met this nice place. We stayed in a cabin at the camping site and quality ratio/price was optimum. The hotel staff was very kind and breakfast tasteful even... More

We have visited Hotell Storforsen on 2 occasions. The first time we booked both a hotel room, and ate at the restaurant. The second time we used only the restaurant. Both experiences were first class and we highly recommend this hotel for either purpose. Despite it's relatively remote location, the hotel is in high demand year round, so booking are... More

This is a remote fantastic wilderness area, The hotel is next to a fantastic watefalls and a frozen lake. I was up there for four months with work and thought it was fantastic.
