First up, the Monkey Mia and Shark Bay area are just amazing. However the room was one of the worst travel experiences I've had in 30 years of travel. Definitely bottom two. Find a place in near by Denham instead - half the local activities are there anyway. Room was half-cleaned: glass doors were filled with greasy prints, muddy hand... More

It is not an easy place to get to by public transport, but once you get there it's amazing. The beach and area is so breathtaking. I said in dorm rooms which were clean and well kept. Big kitchen, very clean hot water showers.

Here now staying on a powered caravan site with the camper, been staying out at Tamala Station all week which was awesome however moved to the Caravan Park (Aspen) at Monkey Mia and liking the location but very Disappointed with the Caravan park as I still haven't had a hot shower yet. We came here to have some amenities such... More

Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is situated on the most beautiful pristine bay. We stayed in an ocean view room for 4 nights, it was cleaned every day and provided us with a very comfortable place to enjoy the most beautiful sunrises, sunsets, moon rises and of course the dolphins just off the shoreline. With a restaurant, bar with food, BBQs... More

Driving 9 hours from Perth and expect better...room is ok but service is so so as they only make up beds and not making sure room is clean....didn't get a chance to feed the dolphins and trying for 3 days...not sure is it just me..not being racist or anything but that is what i saw for 3 days where 70%... Caravan park Reasonable park although it really needs some money spent on the facilities. The best sites are numbers 14-19 as they overlook the beach and have a northern aspect so even if the wind is blowing you are sheltered at the back of your campsite with the sun and an amazing view. Relaxing place to stay but a long... More

We took the risk of travelling out on the peninsula without an unpowered site booking but had rung the night before and were advised to ring from Denham to check availability. We were welcomed at the camp site and quickly shown a map of the site and told to 'set up camp' and come back to book in. For someone... More

Coming to a "resort" must mean different things to different people - this is no resort. It's a caravan park, albeit tents and VERY basic cabins, in the middle of nowhere. Something ordinarily owned by the NRMA etc. Spectacular blue water, nice beach (zero waves), but absolutely full of bogans, mullets and 4WDs. Fair share of drunk fools and feral... More

I have stayed in a couple of places where the accommodation relies on business purely because of the amazing location...this is one of them unfortunately. Monkey Mia is a beautiful place but the resort is not. Our 'Garden View' room had a view of a few palm trees in gravel and parked cars. Our room was okay but the kettle... More
