we stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. The booked online then took a room upgrade and ended up in a deluxe beach front cabin. The bed was super comfortable and enormous! (Our double bed 4wd mattress was just not big enough when we returned to camping after this stay!). The bathroom was dated but we could see Dolphins... More

Location location location, Without it , this place would struggle. Very tired, needs a lot of money invested in it to call it a resort. We have stayed at many around Australia and this one survives because of its captive audience. Staff are all great but are let down by the obvious non re investment in the property. Our room... We stayed two nights in a garden-view cabin that was very nice and spaceous. Clean, very close to the beach, with kitchenette. Restaurant is expensive, but pub offers inexpensive take-away food. The resort itself has not much to offer (in fact it was unclear for us for what you pay the entry fee, as you get access to the resort... More

We (2adults + 2 kids) stayed at resort earlier this month (August 15). We drove there by car from Perth and had an accident (kangaroo hit) just before arriving at resort. The car was broken and non driveable since then. The resort staff has helped as in all aspects to make our stay as comfortable as possible in such a... More

The accommodation is pretty basic as one would expect but clean and tidy. There is a cafe selling usual burgers etc.The town is about a ten minute drive away for groceries and a pint in a little pub.But of course the main highlight is the wonderful beach on your door stop where wild dolphins come to see you in knee depth... Let's face it Monkey Mia is not a town, it's just a resort. If you want to see the dolfin feeding you have to options. Get up really early and leave your accomondation at Shark Bay or stay at Monkey Mia which is a fairly expensive camping ground that calls themselves a resort. When we were overthere there was something... More

A minority of resorts can boast visits each day by wild dolphins. We were impressed by the professional staff who manage the resort and the staff who control the morning visits of these wild sea creatures. We chose water front accommodation and were very happy in our first floor unit. A beautiful sunset from our balcony was a treat followed... More

We visited for Easter 2015 with quite a large group, so we booked two cabins next to each other in 'second' row. We had kids ranging from 2-15. Monkey Mia is simply about the location, and being in the cabins was very convenient because you only have to walk across to the beach. The caravan park was packed like sardines,... More

Set within the Monkey Mia Reserve the Dolphin Resort really has a monopoly. The next closest accommodation is at Denham which is over 30kms away. There is limited Caravan/Camping with approx 40 sites powered. The remainder of the Resort consists of cottages and apartments. Some located on the beachfront! The Resort is ageing but it still has all the facilities... More
