We stayed for four nights to see the amazing archaeological sites in the area - especially Kuelap. The hotel is in a stunning location by the river in a deep gorge and situated in the middle of a chirimoya farm (a delicious Andean fruit). The restaurant was very good and the, since i am vegetarian, the chef made a real... More

Located and hour and a half or so from Quelap and about half an hour from Chachapoyas, it is well located to visit the region. An old manor house well adapted to hotel, it has style. Rooms are ample and well set, restaurant pretty good at breakfast and meal time, staff attentive and friendly. Great for relaxing after a hard... More

This hotel has a stunning location in a valley. The hotel staff are superb. Sandra assisted us on most of our requests, she speaks English, she was so helpful and really went out of her way to assist us. She even went into Chachapoyas town to get our bus tickets. Which we never expected her to do, but she did... More

Casa Andina is a pearl of Chachapoyas. Beautifully arranged with very hospitable staff, great food (milanesa and chicha morada are incredible, mmm...) Great view - mountains, river, great garden (see photos) Highly recommended

This is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting surrounded by mountains and the river. It is secluded and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the many activities that Chachapoya offers. The rooms were nice and clean with all the amenities. The food was very good and reasonably price. The staff was very helpful, friendly and always eager to... More

Our room was supposed to be an upgrade with a king size bed. We prepaid for that. It was small, a double bed, and the bathroom had warm (not super hot water). The restaurant had good food and was expensive. The grounds were lovely, but far from Chachapoyas ( 30 minutes or so). Staff was very attentive, however.

If you are planning a trip to visit the Kuelap Fortress this is THE place to go. This hotel is a beautiful and peaceful riverside postcard. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. It has a very easy access from the main road, and only 25 mins from Chachapoyas city, 90 mins from Kuelaps fortress and 50mins from Gocta Waterfalls.Its... More

This is THE place to have a good time and relax. The staff were friendly. I am sorry but I don't remember the names. Only Nixon, who was in charge. There are some aspects to improve, but I strongly recommend this hotel, if you want to enjoy your freetime in Chachapoyas.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is in a beautiful place, with lovely gardens and friendly staff. It is a bit isolated but I don't know what staying in Chacapoyas would have been like. It was a welcome haven after the 10hour bus journey from Chiclayo! I would be happy to stay here again - it is an excellent... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This boutique hotel inhabits a colonial-style hacienda, in a lovely rural setting just beyond the city of Chachapoyas, and is the perfect gateway to the largely undiscovered but richly rewarding region of Amazonas. The elegantly rustic two-story structure features a red-tile roof and wooden balconies opening onto a colonial courtyard with gardens and a centerpiece fountain.
