relaxing out of the way hotel, situated at the base of the trail to the spectacular falls. Charge for use of their computer if it works. So out of the way. Very friendly. Falls were stunning altho the hike was quite something even using horses. Bring serious rain gear.

We visited Gocta Lodge as part of a trip around the peruvian high selva and a visit to the town of chachapoyas and the fortress of kuelap. The hotel has a breathtaking view over the hocta waterfall, a wonderful menu a la carte, great activities, excellent staff. We were extremely satisfied with our family trip

After an 11 hour hair-raising bus trip over the mountains from Cajamarca we arrived at Gocta Lodge and were blown away by the view overlooking Gocta Falls. The peaceful setting, the tiny well designed hotel on the edge of a village, the alpacas around the perfectly positioned swimming pool, everything well thought out for relaxation and contemplation of nature. The... More

Fantastic location with a unobstructed view of the incredible Gocta Falls. Rooms were beautiful, service was warm and attentive, food excellent, llamas grazing on the grounds. Easy access to the lower falls. The owner and staff made sure that all our needs were met. I don't return to very many places, but I look forward to the time I can... More

Its location, looking out to the Gocta waterfall is fantastic. I think all the rooms have a view of the fall – ours was certainly spectacular looking out over the infinity pool. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfasts and dinners were OK – not a massive amount of choice but good value. The main reason for staying... More

The Gocta Andes Lodge is the perfect place to stay if you want to see and hike to the Gocta falls (779m high). All rooms have waterfalls views and are quite large and well equipped. It is recommended to stay at least 2 nights here so that you can spend a full day to hike towards the waterfalls but you... More

The lodge was fantastic. We spent 2 nights. The view of the waterfall was incredible, and we loved the small town. Our beautiful room faced the falls and was an upgraded room (requested and paid for in advance to celebrate our anniversary), with a balcony. We had dinner at the lodge (few options for meals otherwise). Food was very good.... More

Awesome place with an incredible view. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up at Pedro Ruiz where we arrived at 1:00 am. The food was good but the view. ...the view is a million dollar view. The guide Candelario was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We stayed three nights, and loved the place. The rooms were very good - spacious, clean and comfortable; (one was a suite, and that had massive space). The views were as shown in the photos, but even better in real life. The food was a very positive surprise. We came to Gocta from Pumarinri, one of their other lodges, where... More

I highly recommend this lodge. If you buy a package, you get more for your money. Aina, Helen, Roosevelt and the rest of the staff are very friendly. We took the three days, two nights package. The first tour included the Kuelap fortress, which takes you up to an altitude of 3000m. The car takes you until the museum and... More
