We stayed at the Sirenetta the night before flying out of Fiumicino. If you're looking for a basic room, closely situated to the airport, that isn't too expensive, this is a good option. -We stayed at the hotel our last night in Italy. It's the perfect place to stay if you have an early flight the next morning. It's not the place to spend a great amount of time unless you are there in the summer and plan on spending time at the beach. The hotel is about 6km from FCO. Very easy... more

There are only a handful of hotels along the stretch of beach in Lido di Ostia. This one is probably one of the nicer ones. But basically, it's a fairly typical hotel room. This is a great hotel to use on your last night in Italy when you need to catch an early flight and have a rental car. You are only a few minutes from the airport down a well marked road.
