Thankyou to all the staff at The Old Mill at Alsager for making my sister's surprise 60th Birthday party really special. The buffet was excellent, staff were very helpful and polite. The bedrooms were clean and cosy and the full english breakfast was yummy. Will def recommend to family and friends.

Thirteen of us sat down to a Christmas Fayre evening meal at The Old Mill on a Saturday evening. The general consensus was that it was a really successful evening in every respect! The small function room that we booked was ideal and the table arrangement was great, forming a U shape making it feel quite intimate. The staff were... More

I frequent the old mill about twice a month. It should be more often but I don't live locally and am away a bit. I should also have taken the time to write a review before now. When we talk about the food, I rate the Sunday roast as right up there with the best, tender meat and insanely good... More

We had a Christmas Party at the Old Mill last week and a great time! The function room was very nicely decorated, very festive with table dressings, trees, lights and a brilliant disco. The menu was a carvery with a choice of Turkey or Beef and several other main menu choices, the food was excellent quality, hot, tasty and plenty... More

We decided to use The Old Mill as a base whilst visiting Chester and then Emma Bridgewater in Stoke, we stayed for two nights and had a really nice time. Just to get the negative out of the way first....we were allocated room 5, I think all the others were taken on the first night of our stay. This room... More

We decided to stay here as a halfway stopping point en route from the South of England to Northern Scotland. Arriving late on a Friday night in torrential rain we were given a really fantastic welcome. Nothing was too much trouble including an excellent meal even though the kitchen had closed. Jeremy Clarkson should have stayed here! This small hotel... More

Stayed overnight for a family party. Bedroom was very clean and modern with tea making facilities and TV, separate shower and toilet. Had a small evening meal which was cheap and had delicious home made chips! Full English breakfast the next morning with proper sausage and bacon! Was a lovely cosy old country style pub we would've liked to stay... More
