A warm welcome with tea and cake - the room was quite small but spotless and there is a lounge with TV for guests use. The mattress was a little soft for our tastes but the breakfast was lovely - fresh cooked and plentiful. Chapel Croft is a little out of the way but within a short drive of Biddulph... More

We stayed here for one night on the way to the Lake District to break up our journey. The first thing you notice is the amazing views just prior to arriving at the Chapel Croft Guest House which sits in a prominent position overlooking the valleys. The B&B is a superbly converted old chapel that retains some of amazing stonework... More

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding at nearby heaton house farm. It is 4.5 miles away down windy, country lanes! But... When we got here ... Gorgeous! It is a converted chapel, with Gorgeous windows. the bedroom was spotless, the bedding excellent top quality and we slept like logs! the bathroom was also spotless,... More

We stayed here on what was probably the hottest night of the year and so didn't sleep too well, so my only criticism would be that there could have been a portable fan to move the air a little, and it would probably have helped if the velux windows had been opened in advance of our arrival to help cool... A friend of mine was getting married nearby in Heaton House farm so we needed somewhere nearby to stay as we weren't from the local area. Lyn and Andy were brilliant, extremely polite and went above and beyond in terms of helping us. The rooms were great considering the rates and we loved our stay there. Unfortunately we got snowed... There are only 4 rooms at the Chapel Croft Guest House but the quality of them is better than what you would get at a four star hotel. The the modern room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable and you really notice things like the quality linen and furnishings plus all the extras. We only stayed for one night and... More

stayed 27th December 2012 for a function nearby. stunning place, warm welcome, and so quiet! The bed was to die for, and although compact, the rooms were very well equipped, hugely more than anticipated, and spotless. As others say, it is odd to remove shoes, but the carpet is immaculate so it is understandable. Well recommended for venues nearby (only... More

We decided to stay here while visiting family on Biddulph Moor and based upon the reviews here on TripAdvisor. We had travelled a long way, from China, and didin't want to burden my elderly Mother with 2 tired guests and all their luggage. We found the accomodation to be very comfortable and kept very clean, and, even though we arrived... More
