We had a large room in a dependance, across the square from the hotel. As the weather was good, the commute to the hotel for meals or acivities was not an issue. This hotel has many buildings where it puts his guests. I strongly recommend to have rooms in the hotel itself. The food was always there, so no rush in case they run out. But it was rather bland food. You get stuffed, but it did remind me of school dinners. No haute cuisine. The public was mainly Dutch and Belgian. Bad Bentheim is a beautifull small town with an imposing castle. Also the area is very nice with small castles dotted around. The tourist office organises guided walks. Very nice and informative. I do not know if I would come back. I might, but than I will make sure I stay in the main building. more
