We spent one night in Rantsipi Sveitsi. The definition spa hotel (which you read on the web site) is not really appropriated for this hotel. It has got sauna and swimming pool, but nothing more. Given what it is usually meant with spa hotel in Finland, this is not the case. On the web page it is difficult to understand... More

I stayed two nights at this hotel and I must say that it's definitely not worth the money. The staff is very helpful but the hotel itself is not nice at all. When entering the lobby and restaurant it feels like going back to the 80's. The room was really as basic as it could be and it hadn't any... More

I arranged a conference at this hotel in September 2012. The pics and brochures must have been at least two decades old since the reality was really something else. Old, worn down carpeting, smell of tobacco, dirty facilities, dark meeting rooms, lousy w-lan. The only good thing was the lunch buffet, some participants were pleasantly suprised that they served sushi... More

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times, and have had good experiences both times. The women at the front desk are very nice and helpful, and the rooms are very clean. It is 1970's style, but that seems to be the case for most hotels in Finland. The food in the restaurant is very good as well. The breakfast buffet... More

I got very good service from the reception, and from the restaurant, when I visited the hotel at a conference! The rooms were clean and confortable, and the whole hotel have a great feeling of 1970 around. But it is like new.. in the materials.. great! Food was ok, and for me who were at a conference, they supported me... More

Stayed a weekend due to daugther attending a swimming competition at Hyvinkää. This is the nearest hotel to the pool, therefore very convenient. Room was decent, quiet. Very oldfashioned, no flat tv's or any modern things. Bed was not very comfortable and pillows were very flat. Not good! Shover was nice, though. No complaints about the breakfast, although bacon was... More

This is a forest hotel. It is located in the hour by car from Helsinki. The hotel is big. There is a large outdoor parking near the hotel. The parking is free. We was there for one night. The hotel is a little bit old, but the room was clean. It seems the hotel was renovated. We went in the... More

If you've ever been to a Finnish hotel built in the 1970's, you know the type. Architecture that reminds of the Soviet Union, carpet flooring and ugly colors. The most worn out parts of the interior have been renovated, but the basic atmosphere hasn't changed. Like in most Nordic hotels, the basics are in order. Some older members of the... More

Good hotel and as said by others, the rooms are a bit outdated but clean and fresh. It is in the middle of nowhere with free parking. There is a pool and also a swimming hall next to the hotel but I didn't have time to check them. Service was friendly at the bar and front desk but poor in... More

I have stayed in the Rantasipi several times in the last 2 years, the last time being in September. The hotel is a typical Finnish hotel with the rooms having basic amenities. The rooms are small. They have a restaurant with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner , but you can also order a la carte. The buffet breakfast is the... More
