My sister and I recently stayed at this wonderful lodge for a 3 night 4 day visit. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. The lodge is 4 years old and was built by Germano, Fabiola and family members. What an amazing place they have. It's difficult to decide what the most fantastic activity was, but I think navigating... More

This was everything we were hoping the Amazon would be and more. Our family (us and our two kids, 3 and 4) had so much fun! The fun started when we got off the boat and the resident monkeys ran to greet us. These monkeys were so friendly and playful! In the morning, they would peek at us from outside... More

What an incredible four days we just had at Tariri Lodge! With Germano, the lodge owner, as our guide, we took jungle walks, swam with the dolphins, played with the monkeys, took boat trips to native communities, fished for piranha, and just sat and listened to the sounds of the forest. We lived in a beautifully decorated thatched roof log... More

If you are undecided between choosing Tariri and a more luxurious option (although a limited few) to stay deep in the Amazon forest, I would say go for Tariri, you will not regret it. Tariri gives you the quintessentially rustic experience of staying close to the heart of the forest and the river, such that you are never really cut-off... More

Germano and his family have built and run this wonderful lodge on the Rio Negro. The lodge is in a beautiful location, about half an hour by boat from the pick up point. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable and everything is very clean (generally free of creepy crawlies). There is a warm setting for the water in the... More

We stayed at Tariri with our two children, who are 8 and 6. Our 6 year old cried when we left and said that he wanted to stay there forever. Germanu and Fabiola were wonderful hosts. It felt as though you were guests in their home. The food was delicious and plentiful; fish, chicken, beef, salad, always a great selection... More

I share the view of other reviewers that this is a truly wonderful place to spend a few days. Germano and his family (and I think they all work there) are building a business based on service, first class food, and charm. The tours arranged during the day were all interesting and personal, from fishing for piranha, to the jungle... More

I prefer not to use superlatives to describe accomodation but this place is just so good I can't avoid them. It is the creation of a Peruvian, Germano, and his family. They built the place themselves and now they run it. The difficulties in running a lodge like this must be immense. There is no internet available for instance, so... More

We stayed there for 2 nights in December 2014 and it was a fantastic stay. The organic food is mouth watering. The place has many adventure activities yet has a very relaxing feel to it if u just want to relax. They are in the middle of the jungle and have done everything to make ur stay as comfortable as...
