Stayed one night en route to Innsbruck. Set back slightly from the main road with free parking. Rooms have been recently refurbished. Those facing to the front get traffic noise (if windows open). Lovely old wood-panelled tube (smoking allowed!) and separate dining room which is smoke free. Lovely food and some excellent wines! Would return tomorrow for a longer stay.

This Gasthof is a nice hotel where you can sleep over - and also eat a good meal in the restaurant. The hotel has a friendly staff, which also helps you - if you have some trouble with your car - or if you simply want to know where Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson stayed when he stopped in Schwarz, on his journey... We were in town for two nights, to visit nearby attractions. Gasthof Einhorn Schaller provided us with a comfortable place to stay, close to the highways. Due to its location, it's easy to get to places like Svarovski Kristallwelten and the Klamm in Stans. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good. The sheltered benches... More

Genuine friendly staff who were very welcoming. Great food, excellent breakfast and clean comfortable rooms. Great location near town centre yet very quiet. Plenty to see and the staff printed off a guide to the town for us. Very Austrian Tirol decor and we would recommend this as good value for money and not far from Innsbruck with excellent train... The room was really big and spacious for two people. It is renovated and really comfortable, with a large bed, a sofa, a couple of armchairs, a table and a large flat screen TV. The bathroom was also OK. Both were clean and tidy. The hotel is situated in the center of the village, walking distance from all the amenities.... More
