Michelle and Dave built the B & B accommodation onto their farmhouse when they stopped getting up at 4 am to milk cows. It was therefore built for its purpose and this shows. Both hosts are very friendly and eager to make conversation. Michelle is a keen cook and baker. Each day of our stay there were home-made cakes in... More

Wish we could have stayed another night. We loved Michelle and David, so friendly, and funny! They totally made me laugh. Our room was big and bright with lots of windows, the bathroom was enormous. Best breakfast we had, lots of fruit, juices, bread and cooked breakfast as well.

We didn't book in advance as we had expected to travel further when we stopped here. The owners were very helpful in offering suggestions for nearby attractions and dining. The rooms are kept immaculate and the breakfast was a great start to our day. The next day we took their advice on a walk (near Edzell) which was lovely. I... More

Thank you Michelle and David for the lovely stay at your B&B. I loved your farm. The cows tour of the pig farm was so enlightening to this city girl! We had a very clean, neat, and new room. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I just loved our conversations with you and we in my party voted and said... More

I took my daughter to stay here recently as we were going to see my son's first gig with his new band in nearby Catterline, about three miles away. On hearing this, David got us a lift to the venue (free of charge) and then joined us later! The rooms were very clean and well appointed as well as being... More

Wonderful B&B. The room and bathroom looked like they have been renovated recently. All very nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Besides the usual scottish cooked breakfast there were also pancakes, croissants, cheese, salami, cereals etc. Michelle and David are wonderful hosts! Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We on,y stayed here for one night, but Michelle and Dave have us a welcome like long lost friends, so friendly and we had a piece of home made chocolate slice to go with a cup of tea when we arrived. The room was on the ground floor and easy to access. I mentioned needing a laundrette nearby and Michele... More

I've stayed overnight on several occasions whilst on business - it's near enough for Aberdeen (about half an hour away) & much quieter. Dave & Michelle are friendly & welcoming hosts. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious & very comfortable - I really can't fault them. The Full Scottish breakfasts are generously hearty & prepared using fresh local produce. Highly recommended.
