Stopped by for drinks and to check out the view by taxi. The beer was cold, Mojito was yummy and the view was amazing. You must try and visit to see this cool structure. We were staying at the Grand Paradise. You would not want to walk there. Driving was bad enough, as you go up a steep unmaintained hill.... More

El Cabito is a wonderful place, and the view from the small balcony of the cabana is spectacular. Overlooking the bay and a sky full of stars at night...just nature, nothing which disturbs the piece. The sad thing is that the cabana was not particularly clean - there was still waste from other people in the room. The "shower" had... More

Friendly helpful hosts + Beautiful Scenic vistas + Cold drinks & delicious food + clean accomandations = PEACEFUL EASY FEELING!! Highly recommended. It is an experience. Enjoy morning coffee&breakfast on the cliffside deck. Soak in the beautiful view of the ocean and mountains that you will recall in your memory for a long time to come

I will keep it short and sweet. Amazing food, great hosts, a view like no other. You have to jump off the cliff and stay the night. Hammocks, treehouse, cabins. If don't venture to stay overnight, call ahead and book a lovely sunset dinner. You will only regret not going, going will change your perspective of the northern DR coast.

I am a backpacker and rarely feel so inspired by a hostel to write a review online, but as I sit here overlooking the bay and watching this sunset, preparing for a starry night watered down with delicious Dominican-rum Cuba Libres, I truly feel compelled to let others know how exceptional this place is. The restaurant is famous (and by... More

The view...Incredible view with the waves breaking down the cliff below the restaurant. I had an great meal, great drinks with a simply amazing bonus; whales breaching the water and jumping some 500m away! Wow!

After reading reviews we expected something fancier but were very happy with the amazing spot. great views and dramatic crashing of waves through blow holes. We had grilled shrimp which was delicious. Clientele was an interesting mix of hikers, campers, and others just looking for an interesting dining experience. It's a unique place well worth the trip.

If you’re in Las Galeras you must visit El Cabito!! Located on a cliff it’s the most beautifully located restaurant and the food is excellent. If your lucky you may even see people jump from the cliff....

I went to El Cabito for a short 3 day honeymoon and it was simply amazing, talk about romantic. First of all the view from the bed was insane, I could literally wake up and see the ocean from bed, a billion dollar view, this is probably what stands out the most to me from this place. But coming in... More

Long dirt road to get there sets the tone right away. The locals said don't try to walk it, but it's not that bad to walk there from town. Although, El Cabito has no beach we did lots of hikes on mysterious jungle paths to secluded beaches that appeared to be from a pirate movie. Beautiful views across the open... More
