Bize de la Tour is really great place to stay, if you're traveling around Avignon. The building is very special, actually you feel like living in the castle. All 6 rooms are unique and as unique is the host Pierre. He is so warm and welcoming. The breakfast is also good, Pierre bakes different cakes regularly, you can have also the... More

I have wanted to see Pont du Garde for many years and found a nearby place to stay - Bize de la Tour - recommended by Karen Brown. It was a wonderful visit in a miniature castle ambiance. The market was a few steps away, and Pont du Garde is in walking distance. Pierre, the owner and host, was welcoming... More

The building, antiques, and furnishings were phenomenal, but it was Pierre who made our stay at Bize de la Tour memorable. Each morning was a treat as we arrived to find a different homemade tart, coffee cake, fruit salad, biscuits, French toast, jellies/jams and more; and he taught us to drink our coffee out of a bowl as the French... About as good as B&B's get, the building is superbly appointed in classic French style with real attention to detail. Part of the property consists of medieval city battlements dating from circa 1000 yrs ago which add to the special feel. The host (Pierre) runs the place in a rather "come dine with me" fashion but at breakfast time, the... More

This B&B was amazing, as was the proprietor, Pierre! After reading so many raves about him, I knew he was special, as was the property. In our entire 2 week trip around France, this was the only host who sat down to breakfast with us all and helped with sightseeing plans. We were welcome to use the kitchen/frig for anything... More

This B&B is located in the old city wall of Remoulins. Quite interested building. We stayed in the Canopies room. It was a large, corner room with twin beds. Very nice bathroom, but several of the "original" floor tiles were loose and needed repair. The mattresses in this room should be replaced, they were very uncomfortable. There is no TV... More

In a month of staying in different hotels and B&B's, this was our favourite! From the 11th Century stone tower attached to the 17th Century farmhouse, this property was definitely a ten! The room was ideal with beautiful amenities, including France's best shower! The guest kitchen provided us with enough cutlery, knives and plates to laze away a few hours... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. Pierre was very welcoming and we loved his home cooked cakes and jams at breakfast and bowls of fruit and scones around the house. The room was amazing, lovely antique furniture and a huge bathroom complete with spa bath. Pierre gave us great advice on the local area and things to see... More

Just minutes from Avignon, convenient for the autoroute yet far enough away to not be at all disturbed by it, on a sunny square stands Bize de la Tour, a wonderful example of an elegant townhouse built from local limestone several centuries ago. Despite its age, all rooms have high ceilings and tall windows so that the rooms are filled... More

I cannot rave enough about our stay at Bize de la Tour and as for the host, well Pierre is a genuinely lovely man who goes out of his way to ensure you have a great stay. My two teens and I were here just for one night but wished it had been a lot longer. Our suite of rooms... More

A grand 19th-century house.
