What seem to be a very nice b&b, with very nice speech from the land lord, was changing rapidly. As the land lord didn't explained the rules of the house, we thought to organise a small pick-nick with the intention to clean-up up everything. Suddenly the land lord start to insult us in a very un-polite way, that we took... More

We stayed for one night in may. It is incredibly peaceful and a beautiful setting. Being able to walk to the pont du gard was a huge bonus and we were able to leave the car with our hosts . The hosts were very helpful and kind, the pool very warm and the bathroom something to behold - very French!... More

We had read about this in a book of B&B’s in France. I was a little hesitant because a B&B is different from a hotel room. The place was charming and the owners were very accommodating. We had a nice air conditioned room with plenty of storage space for our clothing and a large bathroom. The owners showed us around... More

I have nothing bad to say about the location and the rooms. It's gorgeous. The owner however was a very stressful person to be around. He seemed to resent our children's presence (10 and 12 years old) and criticized everything we did (although we were very quiet and discrete), from telling me that I had used the wrong garbage bin... We spent 3 nights here and found it to be exaclty what we wanted. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The air-conditioning was a bonus although it does automatically switch off in the middle of the night once the outside temperature reaches 25 degrees C!! We hadn't been told this and so thought that the a/c had broken... More

This a beautiful inn in an ideal location (if you have a car). Gerard and Marianick are attentive hosts who've created a relaxing sanctuary. The grounds extend to the Gardon River and you're a quick walk to the Pont Du Gard. It's centrally located and easy to get to Avignon or Nimes within about 20 minutes. Chateauneuf du Pape is... We stayed for 7 nights in late June. Our room was of ample size and our bathroom was huge (separate shower and bathtub with shower). We traveled with our 7 year old and they added a twin rollaway bed to our bedroom which made it a bit tight, but it didn't bother us. They do have two other rooms which... More
