What we liked: Location - wonderfully quiet Bathroom - very clean Bed - comfortable Complimentary guide to Pisa What we didn't like: Room was well furnished but very dark and the lighting was extremely poor, but most of all we disliked the written warnings to prevent bad behaviour of 'guests'. It starts in your room, where you are informed in... more

We booked this hotel because we needed to make an early getaway to Pisa Airport on the following morning and for that purpose it was fine. Based on our experience, though, I would not recommend a longer stay. I cannot comment on the breakfast as it was not available at the time we had to leave. The room was clean... more

If you check-in after 11pm they expect a fine of 10 euro, which you don't have to give them because is not written anywhere, neither in the terms and conditions, that condition is written beside the door and you can find out only once you are there. more

We landed in Pisa at 8.00pm and it was already dark! However with the help of google maps it was very easy to reach the Hotel! The Staff was very helpful and being that we were hungry we ordered a bottle of wine, a cheese platter and meat platter !! it was great ! We stayed at the hotel for... more

We had to scramble after getting kicked out of somewhere else. Expedia found this place on 4 hours' notice. US$113 for two twin beds; hard to complain. I'd have been angry if I'd planned a long-distance trip for multiple nights or paid more! Our room reeked of vinegar - a cleaning solution i last remember from a Saskatchewan nursing home... more

Great Hotel very quiet, beautiful gardens. You need a car as its in the back of beyond but there are quite a few restaurants nearby - had a great meal at 'the art gallery'. We stayed only one night as we had an early flight from Pisa and it was only 15 mins by car away. more

I booked this hotel for its proximity to Pisa Airport as the following morning I had a 6AM departure. It worked out well. The hotel is charming and the staff very pleasant. The room was well appointed and warm. On the down side, it's a little off the beaten track, therefore not very easy to find, especially with fog, there... more

This hidden gem(difficult to find, too) is between Pisa and Florence. The staff was very helpful in assisting two gringo's on their first trip to N. Italy. The Villa is beautiful and the rooms very private and nicely decorated. The gardens and breakfast buildings were lovely. A great way to be introduced to other vacationers from all parts of Europe. I... more

We arrived at the Villa Maya late one night in November - our first time in Italy and had found driving from the Airport a challenge!! Hard enough to find on a dark foggy night, so we were really glad when we got there..no food anywhere to be found, however we did manage to order a bottle of wine which... more

What does this hotel have in its favour.. well, the rooms are simple but OKAY, it has a nice garden, and it's close to Pisa airport. I booked it because I had read some reasonable reviews, and indeed there were positive reviews in the visitors book, however, The service was non-existent. (Neither good, nor bad, just not there!) At breakfast... more
