The little Inn is in the centre of a picturesque valley in the Northwest Highlands. The dining room is casual, clean and attractive. Service was friendly and quick. Our party had lasagna, fish & chips and the steak and ale pie. I found the pie to be very dry and overly salted. My son couldn't eat the lasagna as the... More

We stayed here a couple of years ago in room number 1 which we booked again because it has a double Jacuzzi and a sauna in the room. Let me tell you something, there is nothing better than completing the South Glen Sheil ridge, an 11 hour walk over 7 Munros and going into a Jacuzzi and then a sauna... More

Stumbled in for dinner as it was at the end of a very long hill walk. Welcomed all three of us tired, weary and slightly dirty walkers (we took our boots off at the door to save the carpet which was no issue to the staff). Main courses are big portions of piping hot, hearty pub food which were delicious... More

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch here with my husband on a recent trip to Scotland. Delicious Cullen skink (ignore the name, and try the dish!), hamburgers, onion rings, and ginger beer. Excellent meal, great service. Highly recommend.

The food and service were great for a convenient stop-off but I really felt that charging £1.50 for 30 minutes' Wi-Fi having paid for drinks and food (and a tank of fuel at the pumps) was unacceptable. These days, provision of Wi-Fi should be regarded as good customer service, so please don't treat it as a means to make money.

The perfect place to stop to refuel coming off the hills or as abase to stay for ease of access to many fine peaks & ridges. Nice, quiet rooms, pet-friendly (warmly welcomed in fact), well stocked bar & good rangy/hearty breakfast. Priced reasonably too with welcoming staff.

Unable to find accommodation on Skye, we managed to book one night at the Cluanie Inn on Mon 15th June. We arrived at Claunie Inn at 7pm and found that instead of a standard twin room, we'd been put in a huge family room. It was a real WOW as not only was the room so spacious and beautifully furnished,... More

Excellent stop off on way to Uig in Skye. Nice room with spectacular views of the mountains. Very good efficient and professional staff serving excellent food in a very polite and courteous manner. Well done a credit to Scottish Tourism.

This hotel has very good location in the middle of nowhere which is perfect in Scotland, nice scenery and nature. Hotel is old and has history but if you need silent for sleeping don't choose room no.8 - we had stupid neighbours and we could hear every word in the night and door closing is very laud. When it's raining... More

Disappointing to arrive this morning at 8.15 after a long journey and be refused any food or drink at all. Large signs outside advertise food and coffee. I live in Plockton, and have stopped before there, and enjoyed bar meals and coffee. This morning we hoped to have coffee and a couple of bacon rolls. No chance! The waitress told... More
