Lovely house. Great host, which makes the stay even more pleasurable. Everything spotless clean. Room spacious and well decorated. Not the easiest to find but is definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

You think you know the best B and B in Scotland? Then you must have been to Hedgehog ( Graineag, we are assured, is a hedgehog). This our first stay so no prior expectations. Pleasant quiet drive, river bound on one side, forest and hillside on the other. Turn right at the Red Cafe ( Worth an afternoon tea time... More

We stopped here recently, two couples had the two Double en-suite rooms on the first floor. How anyone can mark this any other than 5 out 5 for everything for the price you pay is beyond me. Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms , lovely en-suites and great breakfast and great hosts. When you book you get an e-mail with directions and... More

Decided on a long weekend up north and found Graineag purely on the excellent reviews on tripadvisor. Very clean, very well furnished - puts some hotels to shame. very good value for money. Lovely tranquil setting for anyone wanting to escape for a few days from the city life.

My husband and I were touring Scotland in October 2013 and were lucky enough to stay one night at the Graineag Bed and Breakfast. After spending 2 weeks in Scotland, England, and Wales staying at over 10 different hotels and B&Bs, I can say without a doubt this was the nicest accommodation on our trip. The room was large and... Good: -10 mins drive from invermoriston on the road to skye -Exotic location. Situated on the banks of moriston river -peaceful and serene - large and fully serviced bedrooms with all modern amenities. We stayed in the room facing the river. Could hear the soothing sound of flowing river - a large bathroom with a bathtub - the room and... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October. We were delighted we chose to stay here. The owners are extremely friendly and warm and made us feel very welcome where nothing was any trouble. The room we booked was clean, spacious and decorated superbly. My wife actually fell in love with the house. Especially... More

A perfect B & B set in a quiet and peaceful location with stunning views. Large bedroom with modern and spotlessly clean bathroom. Huge breakfast with everything you could want making a great start to the day. Nothing was too much trouble for Barbara and Ian. Would highly recommend this B & B and we will definitely stay again when... More

Well what can I say? Second time we've stayed (certainly not the last!) and this B&B is simply perfect in every way possible. Barbara and Ian treat you like friends not guests and their constant friendly manner along with their immaculate, warm and welcoming home, set in a beautiful location make it almost impossible not to fall in love.
