We stayed at the Fletcher Falls Lodge and were extremely satisfied. Located about midway between Ainsworth Hot Springs and Kaslo. We stayed in the lodge in the Alpine room. The room was extremely clean and modern, and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was not only a great start to a perfect day, but a highlight was an... More

Location, food, service, everything! was great at Fletcher Falls Lodge. Went with the whole family and stayed in the main house. CJ was a delightful host! Breakfasts were delicious and one day i had to wake up at 6 in the morning for this big hike and CJ even made me a lunch (i did not even ask!) There is... More

When I told CJ, the owner that I could not eat gluten, dairy or eggs she immediately had some vegan suggestions and produced some amazing breakfasts for the three days we were there as well as making sure there were eggs etc for my traveling companions. Staying at Fletcher Falls was like staying in your own home; clean, comfortable with... More

We stayed one night on a short weekend trip to the Kootenay's. We were warmly greeted by the friendly family dog (Buddy). The location was situated perfectly between Kaslo and Ainsworth Hotsprings. CJ the owner was friendly and assisted with suggestions for places to eat in Kaslo. The room, baths, and home were very clean and the beds comfortable. Overall... More

We stayed one night on a trip to the coast from Calgary. We picked it partly because we thought it was on the lake as the pics on their website show a lot of lake views. Doesn't say anywhere it's on the lake so fair enough. We got over our disappointment thanks to the warm welcome we received from CJ.... More

Thanks for clarifying! While it is true we are not on the lake, we are at the lake - well, technically 'above the lake'. Being at the lake means that it is a very short walk from Fletcher Falls Lodge down a beautiful forested trail beside a spectacular 100' waterfall that ends up at the beach at Kootenay lake. The... My wife and I spent three nights at Fletcher Falls Lodge in early September and it was very hard to leave. The location was beautiful and for the brief period when the weather wasn't spectacular, Steve promptly lit a fire in the living room's gorgeous stone fireplace providing a warmth not unlike C.J. and Steve's hospitality. It was like staying... More

CJ and Steve are wonderful hosts, down to earth people who make you feel right at home. We enjoyed our conversations with them in the kitchen so much while eating muffins fresh out of the oven (CJ was preparing a superb breakfast - a true multi-tasker). To top this off, we had our breakfast on the patio, out in the... More

My husband and I always use the September long as our final bike trip of the season. We make our reservations at least 6 weeks in advance, always stay in B & Bs and only drive in the daylight hours. We arrived at Fletcher Falls Lodge, our Sept 1st destination, to be told that if we were not the 3... More

My full and heartfelt apologies to the couple who came and found out we were double booked on the September long week-end. Granted, it was the busiest night of the year, but really, I made an honest mistake and I apologize for that. I took the reservation over the phone while watching TV one evening, and wrote a note to... More

We stayed in the B&B, we liked it so much that we extended or stay. The rooms were excellent, the continental breakfast mouthwatering and being woken by the smell of freshly baked muffings got even the sleepyheads in our group out of bed. Anyone travelling on a motorcycle; the short ride on hard packed gravel to the house is easy... More
