This hotel is fantastic because it is a 4 star room but it is well off the beaten track and is very quiet. The breakfast is amazing overlooking the lovely palm greenery, pool and beach. The dinner was OK but not amazing. Its nicely situated next to a Fijian village where you can get to know the friendly locals and... More

For a chain property with international affiliates, you would think that The Wellesley Fiji might take a little more time invest in training their staff. The food here is terrible, and as the owner explained the cook had only one week with a trained chef to get to know their way around the menu (the chef trainer being her son... More

my husband and I stayed here for 10 days in June 2014, and was absolutely blown away. Paradise on earth. Somewhere to relax and completely chill out. You can arrange trips out through the resort office. The Jewel of Fiji is a must, my husband and I had a fantastic time. Snorkeling was great as well. Clear water and lots... More

Although I have not had the pleasure (yet) of staying here, I have had the pleasure of having lunch and dinner here on several occasions. Each time I am there I promise myself I will write a review and I keep forgetting. Today I remembered! I have found the service there quite good and any dish I have had there... More

Please - read the reviews .. I recently had friends stay here against my best advice....They await a 'refund' from management, so did't want to review the hotel in case they have the same repercussions that I did (ie.. no refund!) Apparently the resort had 'improved' and my and others reviews were 'misleading' ... Please .. do not stay here.... More

While the staff were lovely and the serenity divine, I was very disappointed that it differed so much from what was advertised on their website - not only in terms of what was said but also what wasn't said! For example.....it is not new; it is not beachfront; the snorkeling is not great; it is a good 2 hours from... More

We recently stayed at the Wellesley for 4 nights and found it to be a peaceful and serene place to wind down, relax & generally chill out. We had arrived early and the staff made sure we were fed, watered and given the use of another room until ours was ready. We really appreciated this, having flown in overnight &... More

We loved our first trip to The Wellesley (12 months ago) that we booked to go back the same time this year! Having just returned, we can say that this is definitely one of our future regular places we'll stay at. It's quiet, peaceful, truly relaxing (in fact the first time we stayed, it took us two days to unwind,... More

We have just returned from a week at the Wellesley after having celebrated my partners 40th with close friends. In reading previous reviews it's clear that one thing stands out, this place is about relaxation, doing very little. The resort is about a 2 hour drive from Nadi, it is literally in the middle of a rainforest. The grounds are... More

Was a terrible error of judgement staying at the Wellesley. By the looks of it, one would expect good services, but in reality it was very basic! I was travelling from Ba, and reached the resort at around 3pm. Hungry that I was, I headed straight to the restaurant. I was expecting a traditional Fijian spread, but what I saw... More
