We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. Darren, our host, was always there when you needed him. The girls running the bar, Kate, Lauren and Sam were great company, very friendly and efficient. When Lauren is cooking breakfast, ask for the extra egg! The room was very big as was the bathroom. The place is spotless, the food... More

We popped in to The Bell with 2 dogs and 4 kids, on a camping trip. The staff could not have been more friendly. Really pleased to see the dogs and made them very welcome with cuddles and treats. Lovely decor and fireplace. Good food, especially the burgers and anti pasti. Would recommend very highly. Socks and Bertie send you... More

Firstly, I'm not in the habit of writing 'bad' reviews as I always think there's too many of them so I look for the good in everywhere I go. But this place, I'm sorry to say didn't provide me with much to write about. The lady behind the bar was friendly enough but the manager certainly does a good impression... More

Stayed here in June 2015 for a night of Van Morrison at Blenheim, i mention this because transport was a nightmare. Nearer hotels and taxis all booked, but I'm glad we ended up here. Staff advised the bus takes you door to door, and it did. We enjoyed a large glass of wine in the sun trap beer garden while... More

Lovely accommodation in a lovely location! Accommodation was clean & spacious... & quiet! Dinner was great. If wanting a cooked breakfast there were lots of choices... not so many options if you wanted a continental one, but still great value for money, when included in the room price! Staff were helpful & smiley! Would definitely recommend if wanting a stop... More

Room 3 is a very large and stylish room, the only issue is it has an interconnecting door to another room, not a problem for me but i'm sure my snoring would have been heard ! Evening meal was great as was breakfast and the staff were all friendly and chatty

Stayed at the Bell last week. Didn't spend a great deal of time here as we were of to Nocturne in Blenheim Palacs but satisfied with our stay. Beautiful old fashioned pub with charm. Stayed in Room 10 up in the roof. Clean, ensuite and with sloping floor. A function of the charming old building. Fine breakfast in the morning.... More

We were fortunate to have room 3 The Bridal suit. Very flash room overlooking the front of the hotel. The suit comprises a large bedroom with two comfortable chairs and small table under the window. Large TV. More than enough storage space. Off this is the large bathroom, comprising modern shower, huge bath and vanity. In the pub itself the... More

Rooms in annex are OK but still work in progress, e.g. wall mmounted heaters not working so portable one provided instead. Bathroom needs some TLC. The big let down is the dinner. The food is very basic and consisted of pre-prepared oven heated ingredients which would be half the price elsewhere. Not the worst place but there are much better... More

The Bell Inn dates from 1700, with all the character you would expect. Some rooms are in the old part and some in a modern annex at the back. We stayed here for two nights over the May Day bank holiday and would stay again. We were in room 14 in the annex. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean,... More
