Usually I stay at The Crown - but it was full do I tried here upon a friends suggestion Albeit a conference centre they do have rooms for non conference candidates I found the reception staff v friendly & knowledgable and helpful. The room was a little small but immaculate & well decorated. Nice big TV, iPhone dock, free wifi... More

Stuck here for a training course for 3 days. Jetlagged after returning from a US trip. It's a miserly pit of a bedroom that makes a Travelodge look upmarket. There isn't space to get a sheet of A4 between the bed and the bathroom door. God knows who signed off the design as workable. The bed is the hardest, most... More

Lovely venue, probably nicer in the summer. Has a gym which is reasonably equipped. Room was small but nicely furnished - good lighting, comfy bed, tasteful, hairdryer, tea & coffee etc. Bathroom nice and modern although the toilet was a bit dirty. The drinks at the bar were expensive! £2.60 for half a lime n soda - Premier Inn charges... More

Anytime I am passing this area I tend to use this place to get my head down. The rooms are small but very comfortable with nice beds, it is always nice and warm and it looks like all the rooms have been refurbished recently. The bathrooms are modern the only small criticism I have is that it looks like they... More

Called this place home for 3 nights as part of a business training at Moorhall. As a business venue it was ideal with conference halls and smaller rooms for breakout meetings. As a place to stay it was very cosy; the room I was in was perfect for one person with an en suite modern bathroom, a flatscreen tv and... More

I have now stayed here three times, the accommodation is clean and modern, the rooms are fairly small however the beds are comfy, the bar does some nice evening meals or you can visit the on site restaurant, the breakfast is served in the main area, if you are looking for a good value stay in this area then I... This is the home of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and provides an efficient conference venue in a nice area. I was told when I checked in that in future it is a good idea to park outside reception and then find out which room you are staying in before unloading your luggage. My room was not the largest I... This centre is a wonderful 'mix' of a classical old manor house/grounds with the addition of a relatively new conference/restaurant and accommodation which was probably part of the old gardens of the manor house. Lovely landscaped gardens and water features all around. Although room was a 'double' and very modern, clean and stylish, it was quite small (around 2x5 metres)... More

Stayed here for my cousins wedding at Jon Lewis's odney club. Pro's. Easy walking distance to Odney Club Clean Nice big shower, although somewhat out of place in tiny bathroom Quiet Cons. Roasting! Never been so hot in my life! We slept naked, with zero cover, the window wide open and the fan on full power. I was still hot!... More

Really friendly staff, sorted out an early breakfast for us & generally cheery & helpful. Rooms were reasonably priced, esp considering the area (£88) but be aware the walls & doors are very thin. We stayed on a Saturday night when there was a wedding. The music was very loud (our room was on the side of the main function... More
