This place is in a prime location for enjoying Hamble. Service was very good as was breakfast. The rooms are not massive and the walls are very thin. It seems to have had a makeover of late but perhaps they skimped a little on the materials as the finish is a bit cheap. With that said it's well worth a... More

Twenty one of us for lunch, 11 adults, and ten children, we celebrated a Birthday and Golden Wedding Anniversary on Easter Day. Sean and his "crew" looked after us admirably...we had a selection from the lunch Menu, fish (haddock in shrimp sauce) roast beef, and lamb, all cooked to perfection. The vegetables were beautifully cooked, and copious! The Bar Staff... More

You know things will go badly when the receptionist has to leave her desk to escort you through the maze of corridors to find your room... Whilst the room was spacious (horizontally) and immaculately clean, things rapidly went down hill from there. A sloping room made left me with only a minority of the room I could stand up in... Stayed here in April. Lovely clean and well furnished rooms. The bar overlooking the river has a terrace where you can sit and watch the sun going down. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was amazing! Staff really friendly and helpful.

Very good place to stay once you visit this region. Fantastic Staff, and welcome to make you feel at home ! Easy access in and out of building and car parks with electronic card. Fresh pleasant breakfast. Lovely setting on the front with views of boats at breakfast.

Having to visit regular with work, a friendly atmosphere and great location with the boats. Rooms are very strange however with low ceiling in some and limited air conditioning, in the summer the rooms can be very warm.

Stayed two weekends in March and the quality was superb. it's very unusual to have built up such a top quality staff which give unbelievable service and attention. The food on the five days / evenings we were there was to a very high standard and the rooms were to quality hotel standard Very Very impressed.

We stayed here after yachting and mooring just outside on the river, the cost was reasonable, rooms were clean and perfect for what we needed, although we were in a converted attic and banged our heads a couple of times on the sloping ceiling ! Full English breakfast the next morning was much needed as not many places nearby to... More
