We were walking the South Downs and stayed at this pretty B&B the night before we set off. We could not have asked for better treatment. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was great, the hosts were friendly and there is even a dog !

Such a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. The welcome was warm, food delicious, accommodation comfortable and homely, and the setting exquisite. We certainly hope to return to this delightful B&B, and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Excellent bits: The hosts - really nice and very helpful The food - really top class and good value for money (we had lovely dinners) Good bits: The bed was nice and comfortable, if a little small. Not quite so good: The seating in the lounge was a little uncomfortable The shower was very awkward to use. Would we go... More

Myself and my daughter stayed with Sarah and Fraser this week at The Old Bakery, and had a lovely time. Really lovely suite on your own floor of the house - with a double bedroom, bathroom and separate lounge, and gorgeous breakfasts! Felt like home straight away. Sarah was also kind enough to do a little baking with Molly which... More

Our 3 course evening meal was absolutely delicious and extremely good value. The... More

What really makes this B&B fantastic is the owners. They are both very friendly and helpful with suggestions for eating out or nice walks while respecting privacy. The rooms are in their own section of... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Bakery which is situated in the most authentic Old English village you could ever imagine - historic stone cottages with thatched roofs and magical Amberley Castle nearby! The well appointed very comfortable accommodation was exceptionally clean and has an ideal private arrangement. Our hosts Sarah and Fraser are a really lovely friendly... More

Thank you Sarah and Fraser for a lovey stay. We had a delicious cooked meal by Sarah on one night and the breakfast was very tasty. It was also great to relax in our own lounge area after a day of walking. Would definitely recommend.

What a perfect start to the weekend. Sarah (and husband Fraser) warmly welcomed us on a rather cold, dark, Friday night with some homemade blueberry muffins and delicious tea. We were then led to a beautiful, quirky room, or rooms in fact. Not only did we have a lovely double bedroom, but a lounge (with television), courtyard and bathroom. After... More
