The stay of Manohara Hotel inclusive the daily entry of Borobudur Temple, daily breakfast, and the video of documentary which will take half an hour. There are lots of anti-mosquito devices around the hotel, but only time that suffered mosquito bites was when we watch the documentary during the evening, or walked back from the temple. The food is alright,... More

This Hotel sits in the conservation area of the magnificent Borobudur Temple, as the main attraction is the viewing of the sunrise atop the Temple this hotel is ideal. The room is clean and comfortable, the shower needs more force of water. The Staff were helpful and willing to answer our questions. The breakfast was good. We were satisfied.

The hotel comprises several traditional Javanese style buildings surrounded by several hectares of parkland. All the rooms, although not very spacious, are on ground level with easy access to the park and just a short stroll to the majestic Borobodur Temple. Wake early to take a contemplative stroll to the Temple - energizing experience, It is a good place to... More

I chose Manohara Hotel for just one reason only - Borobudur. The hotel sits right inside the conservation area, so it offers an unparalleled view of the famed archeological site. The grounds is very well maintained, and the atmosphere is very meditative (that is, until the next busload to tourists come tramping across the manicured lawn). Be warned though -... More

After reading the reviews we felt this hotel would be a great option. It's an expensive option for a night. The good: - location - access to regular hours of the temple available as part of your room charge - large rooms - egg station at breakfast so you can get protein The downside: - unclean - had to call... Our family stayed 2 nights at Manohara, and with the possibility of day trips from Yogya and little to do in Borobudur, that was probably 1 night too many, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing at the Manohara, which sits directly on the temple grounds, and the unlimited free visits to the temple that it provides, not to mention... My family spent 1 night at the Manohara. They do not have family rooms so we booked 2 adjacent rooms for the four of us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a little on the small size, as was the bedding (ie they came with double beds which seem very small when you're used to a queen sized bed).... More

If you are planning to visit the Borobudur temple, this is where you want to me. It is located s about 5 min walk from the temple, and as you are staying in the hotel you get free entrance. They also organise the sunrise tour which we enjoyed very much. The hotel itself nothing special, clean, and quiet.

We were glad we stayed here. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the Temple. The room we were in was very clean and quiet and the Hotel staff efficient and friendly. Touring this magnificent temple was a wonderful experience Do not miss the elephant ride! My wife and I had a great time. Highly recommended.
