Very much a 3 star. No telephone to reception. No hairdryer , no bars of soap for sink. As Meant to use bath gel or shampoo. No tea or coffee, The bathroom was badly... More

I cannot thank the reception of this hotel who picked me up even though I was hours late after being stranded amid a series of delays at Jakarta airport. The gardens of this small boutique hotel are beautiful with a great open air longue where guests can relax and soak up the ambience. Wonderful Asian influence which reflects the proximity... More

We found this place to be a terrific example of a small bungalow lodging what has rooms that beautifully reflect the local Javanese architecture and landscaping. It's a short horse cart ride from Borobudur, so the location's great. The breakfast and service was terrific too. The only downside was that they don't have that many medium or larger sized rooms,... Location: It is advisable to arrange a transport with the hotel prior your arrival as the place is quite secluded. Lobby: As a first timer in Indonesia, the lobby showcased a humble yet warm traditional Indonesian atmosphere. Just need some re-touch with the sofas, which I guess were not washed for quite some time. Some of the decorations, like the... More

We stayed at Rumah Boedi in April and fell in love with the hotel. While the rooms were small, they were comfortable (AC worked great!!) and had so much charm and character. We loved that our room sat behind a wall and we had our own small private garden. We also loved that the walls were doors that you could... More

My friends and i stayed at rumah boedi for 3 nights. As the others here on trip advisor have mentioned, the lush surroundings make for a tranquil environment. However some cons were the random brown soil residue bits that we found on our beds every night (possibly from the ceiling), smelly bath towels and lack of a phone in the... More

A convenient option if you're visiting the Borobudur temple for its famous sunrise. Just under a mile from the temple, the hotel organizes a painless drop and pick-up to the temple so you don't have to be bothered. The property is still a work-in-progress and tucked away in a corner of a local neighborhood. So, do not expect five-star (or... More

This hotel is located in a small viillage where it would be a challenge for traveller who travels alone. There is no signboard with hotel name along the road, just a flower symbol signboard. The room is small, smelly bath towels.

The tour choice to stay here to minimize the travel to see the sunrise over the temple was understandable, but the rooms were inconvenient in that there was no place to open the suitcase or lay out tomorrow's clothes. The grounds were beautiful. The food was freshly fixed.
