Last minute decision to go away for a long weekend and we found the 'Rumah boedi' in the city and then we followed our hosts advice and headed out to the Rumah boedi pavillion at Borobodur. What a treat, lovely tasteful place with gorgeous private rooms, lovely gardens and restaurant but best of all is the paviliion ( grand guest... More

Great food, fantastic rooms, brilliant location and amazing service. What more can i say? Linda, the restaurant host was very friendly. She even remembered all of our names. Always checking in on us during our stay, and ensured that we were very accommodated. We came here to celebrate our in-laws 40th wedding ceremony. The team at Rumah Boedi made sure... More

It was off season, so we pretty much have the place to ourselves. We booked transportation with them (from the airport and to Jogjakarta city). The hotel has big grounds, nice landscaping. It had a relaxing feel; an unhurried pace. The service was good and we could even book tickets to Borobudur for the next day. You can even walk... More

Obviously I was there to see the Borobudur, but also took some time to discover the area around the hotel a bit, on a motor bike. The hotel is small but nice. The beds are very comfortable and the restaurant food very tasty. The service is very good ether, and the garden at the restaurant area makes a great place... More

We went there off-season so it wasn't very expensive. The decoration was really nice. It feels like luxury service there. The all-you-can-eat breakfast was awsome before a long tourist day around Borobudur and Prambanan. The only thing is that everything is much more expensive there than in other places in Java.

In general, a very beautiful place. Gardens everywhere, lounge for you to relax, nice breakfast as well. But I was a bit concerned when I saw a lizard and frog inside the room. We immediately talked to the reception guys and they send someone to chase the animals away from the room. I like the fast response from them, but... More

We chose Rumah Boedi because it was a bike ride's distance away from Borobodur Temple and absolutely adored staying at this little gem. The rooms are very small; two people feels like too many, but it's intimate and comfortable and perfect for couples. There is a restaurant with a traditional menu as well as an outdoor living room with plush... More

What we were most impressed with was the staff. Every one we have dealt with was so friendly and helpful and polite. From the reception staff to the waiter and even the owner who came and introduce himself to us. We saw him spending time with his staff and you can tell he lives and breaths high standards of hospitality... More

We found this hotel in a travel book after checking several hotels in Borobudur. It was not easy to find it because it’s away from the main temple area, but finally we entered the areaway and got a cordial welcome from the staff. The first impressive view was when we entered the main spot. The whole hotel looks like great... More

First impression is great. Friendly reception and beautiful public areas and garden on a good location. The downside is the very small room (unnecessary small because there is plenty of space as every room has a private terrace at the front and a useless garden at the back. If that garden would have been added to the room it would... More
