Visited for lunch one day and it was desolate. Nobody around including staff and when someone did appear, they seemed surprised to see us. The food was fine at a reasonable price, but given the hotel reviews I'm not sure I would eat here again. At the time, we wondered how the place was remaining in business and after reading... More

It's probably the worst place in Borobudur! OK, it's close to the temple! OK, it overlooks scenic rice fields! OK, it has nice and friendly staff. But that's it! Nothing more but dirt. The bathroom has nothing working properly and the only cleaning they provide to the room is sweeping the floor. Huge pity as it could be a great... More

The owners are nice but speak very little english. We originally wanted to go to the Lotus but they said they had someone sick there and they didn't have our room anymore, they offered to bring us to the Rajasa and they organised the room for us. We got one without air con, for the time of year we went... More

Great location right next to Borobudur temple and the small town or Borobudur - which is a great little town, if you speak to some of the locals that dont just want to take your money! There is a great guy called Joko who sits in a little tourist shop right opposite the main gates to the temple - speak... More

We booked 2 rooms at this hotel because it is near Borobudur temple just 5 minutes walk. Arrived at this hotel at 8pm , tired, hoping for a good night sleep, just to find out that the room and especially the bathroom are dirty. We found large amount of bug's eggs all over the bathtub. yuck!. We didnt have a... More

Unfortunately, I decided to at this place after reading about it in the guide book. I paid 200,000 and shared room with an army of ants, lizards, dragonfly, moths and yes you've guessed it mosquitoes! One staff member was helpful the others were not. The room was dirty as we're the bed sheets. The hot water shower was scalding!

From the Hotel you can reach Borobudur Temple in 10 minutes by walk, so very good location. We had economy rooms and they were quite dirty, the toilet was quite dirty too and we found a cockroach in the room. We used sleeping bag to lay in the bed, but for me it was ok just to sleep and wake... More

Unfortunately our (2 persons) stay at the Lotus 2 hotel was double booked and our driver (local guy from Yogya) strongly recommended us to stay at the Rajasa. An old lady (could be the owner, but did not introduce herself) gave us no welcome at all and started of negotiations on room prices instantly. After having seen several of the... More

My friend and I stayed there in June 2010 mainly because it's only about a half kilometer to Borobudur, and at that time I was going to attend an annual dance performance. The caretaker lady was very friendly and good-humored, and we couldn't find a single bit about the food. She also provided us helpful information about Yogya trip we... More

This hotel has clearly seen better times (or so I hope) - the rooms are small, dark and far from cozy. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired -and this is putting it nicely. Bring your own sleeping bag. For what you get, this hotel is quite overpriced. As a matter of fact, the only nice thing to be... More
