It's cheap... but that's all... if you stay there, be shure to cover all your body at night, so you do not get in direct contact with the bed (bedbugs)... it would be good to cover your eyes to, so you don't get where you are intending to stay... cockroaches and dirt everywhere... instead of cleaning their facility or lear... We didn't sleep there, but came for lunch. They are famous for their Soto Resah, and should be! It is one of the best meals I've had in 3 weeks in Indonesia! Very simple place, very cheap, friendly people. I loved it!

This guesthouse was worst choice of our month stay in Indonesia. The room was dirty and broke as hell, I doubt anyone has cleaned it for years. And they took 200 000 for such a mess. If you want AC you pay 300 000! Check what can you get for 300 000 per night (for example basic room in luxurious... More

Lotus 1 in Borobudur is one of the top 10 absolutely worst places I´v ever stayed on. The place is really dirty. Not just little dirty but really really dirty. Old garbage under the bed, filthy bathroom with just a hose for shower and probably a lot of people have slept in the sheets. It was probably a quite good... More

I stayed there for 2 nights. The highlights are the view from the upper room balcony, the staff and the breakfast that included fresh fruit. The rooms are large but pretty dark, no reading light, bed OK with mosquito net, bathroom could use a lot more cleaning and the water pressure is terrible, and when I woke up the first... More

March 2012 , Stayed in Lotus II for 3 nights and it was just pure heaven, it was a little out of my budget (USD6) but after roughing it out for almost 3 months I needed a treat and this place was just what I needed, I got a double room with a fantastic bed , toilet and shower attached,... More

This guest house is excellent value the staff were very friendly and made our stay enjoyable and relaxed it's right across the road from Borobudur and you can wake early to see the sunrise at Borobudur without having to be up at 3 and missing the lunch and afternoon crowds rooms are basic but I would highly recommend this place
