We visited this place this weekend for one night and had a mixed experience. When we arrived, the staff was extremely courteous and a foot massage to welcome you is a great idea. There were spotted deer roaming around freely and it was all very pretty and exciting. However, once we got to the room, the AC wasn't working properly... More

INDeco Swamimalai transports us back to the early 20th century - a different pace of life and a very different, nature-centric life style. It is not for those who crave for fast Internet and mobile phone connections, 40" flat screen TV sets and peppy music. One goes to such places to connect with the simple person inside who does not... After my daughter's wedding at chennai, we went straight to Indeco, swamimalai. The way we were welcomed with garlands and importantly with smile at 12.30 in the night made us feel as though we were entering our own home after wedding. Right from the help boys to the front staff, everybody was warm and courteous .The tanjore meal and all... More

We stayed 2 nights in a bungalow in a park like environment. Good Service and value for Money. But when the invoice is due insists paying with your credt Card in paying in Rupees. Otherwise they convert in EURO and you loos some 5% ! Far better than the INDECO in Mahabalipuram which was disappointing.

We were a group of 20 on a temple tour, and it was a great idea to have lunch here. This is a very charming little resort which strives to give you a local aesthetic experience. Loved the old artifacts, the tanjore-chettinad look and feel of the place, and the greenery all around. The restaurant is lovely. Not air-conditioned but... More

Its amazing to see old tanjore village houses & antique pieces spread all over the resort. From the begining of our checkin till our checkout " The staffs are always smiling and waiting to serve the best for... More

This was our base for visiting Kumbakonam and we arrived after night fall and were welcomed with a traditional foot massage which was a nice touch.
