After a great trip down the Napo River you walk along a track through the jungle to the lagoon which you cross by dug out to a very pleasant lodge building constructed over the Lagoon. This is where you have many of your meals. The "Huts" you stay in are large, clean and comfortable. The staff are great and will... More

Opportunities to see wildlife in this part of the Amazon were excellent with giant otters living in the house lagoon. Combination of native and naturalist guide works very well, meaning the tourist sees as much as possible. The lodge itself is very well maintained by the friendly staff and serves delicious food. The guides offer a wide variety of activities... More

What an experience! My wife and I came down after Xmas for New Years. We were there 5 days and LOVE IT. We consider ourselves adventurous so it's not for everyone but we love our planet and want to see as much of it as we can. The staff were very friendly and spoke more than enough English required to... More

My family of six thoroughly enjoyed Sacha Lodge. The rooms were large and had everything we needed. They were clean and safe as well. The staff at the lodge was knowledgeable and always pleasant. Both our naturalist and our guide could not have been better. I give Sacha a gold star!

Loved our stay here! Such an interesting setting, great walks and canoe rides, staff was all lovely. The rooms were unique and very comfortable. The food was delicious and at just the right times. They kept you on schedule if you want to go out with the guides and gave you down time in the afternoon. The morning spent on... More

From SFO three planes a 90 min boat ride with a 2 kilometer hike through our only massive downpour to a canoe across a lake with piranha, otters, and Cayman, we arrived to the best hospitality and unique accommodations (stilted unique natural). Our guides Carlos, Jorge, Walter were great. I consider them friends now. Our viewing list and jungle observations... More

Great place rooms are nice but lack AC they start your day at 5am them there is a break mid day. Then you do an afternoon activity. We had a local guide Fausto who was excellent My kids loved him The food was very good. Only negative is the humidity (not their fault) you are wet all day and clothes... More

Let me start in the positive... The location is beautiful, the lodge, facilities, accommodation, staff, food and organization were excellent. I would give a full 5-stars to all of that. I would give 3-stars to the nature experience we had which could well have just been bad luck... my two boys (aged 11 and 13) and I went to Sacha... More

They wake you up at 5am most days You do hikes, climb towers canoe trips Our guide was a local and he was great Could spot all kinds of animals We saw... More

We spent four nights in Sacha Lodge in December. We had spent the previous four nights in the much more basic, and less manicured, Huaoroni Lodge, and the differences were quite stark. Sacha do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. To have excellent food, WiFi, hot showers, flushing toilets and comfortable beds in the middle of the Rain... More
