I visited Sacha Lodge for 4 days/3 nights with my wife, mother, and two daughters ages 11 and 13. We didn't really know what to expect, but it exceeded anything we could imagine. They take care of you from the moment you arrive in Quito. The guides and staff are friendly and helpful. The trip to the lodge is an... More

Sacha Lodge is a lodge that markets itself correctly. what you see on the website is what you get. So, to start with, it is as luxurious and safe as it looked, rooms are spacious and clean, as insect free as it can get in the middle of such wildlife, and has beautiful surroundings. Staff is attentive and helpful. Guides... More

We stayed here for 3 nights to get a feel of the Amazon, having flown in to Coca from Quito. Sacha Lodge have got the logistics all sorted, with airport pick ups, a transfer to the boat and then a couple of hours down the Rio Napoli to the lodge itself. You really can't fault the organisation. What happens when... More

In reading all if the recent reviews, I agree with pieces of all of them, except for one, where they mention how many children were there. We visited in late May, just before the Summer holiday season began, and we had very few children there at all (go figure!). If you have children, then I imagine this is the best... More

I think most people have already covered the location, the adventurous trip to get to Sacha, the great food and very comfortable accomodation, all of which we really enjoyed. This is comfortable Amazon, but that doesn´t mean you don´t have a real wildlife experience and learn loads. The real highlight for us were the guides and particularly our two -... More

I had dreamed for years of experiencing and exploring the amazon jungle, and bypassed the anakonda cruise for this lodge as it was the only our tour operator had available. In one way, the lodge is very organised in transfers and allocation of wellingtons and ponchos to guests, in other ways it is run a bit too much like a... More

Sacha Lodge is gorgeous. Elevated walkways over flooded forest lead you around the lakefront property. There is an open dining area overlooking the lagoon and a two story screened dining room with bar nearby. Rooms are separated in clusters so they feel very secluded. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Each has a porch with a hammock open to the... More

We just got back from 3 nights and 4 days at Sacha lodge with our two boys 11 and 8. We added this on after our cruise in the Galapagos and were generally very happy with Sacha lodge. To get to Sacha you fly from Quito to coca where Sacha lodge employees meet you, take you on a bus for... More

I visited Sacha Lodge in August of 2007. I chose a five-day bird watching package. Neither the lodge nor the tour company I booked my stay with, Tropical Birding, told me that the package wasn't really five days. I was new to bird travel and didn't know to ask at the time. On Day 1, I flew to Coca, had... More
