My boyfriend and I stayed at the Riverside B & b last weekend, after reading some positive review on Trip Advisor. When we first arrived we were really happy with the idyllic location, right in the middle of the countryside. We were greeted by Roger who came across very friendly and helpful from the offset. He showed us to our... More

This excellent B&B was introduced to us by our friends who had stayed earlier in the year, so we had a high expectation of thge accomodation and especially the breakfast. Our expectations were very well met, with a warm welcome from owner Roger and then followed by a very comfortable bedroom with a king size bed and everything that was... More

This B & B is in a great location, short walk to the start of the Manifold Way with a pub just down the road which does good food and a fair selection of beers. Roger was a great host, very helpful with excellent local knowledge. In the morning there was a selection of cereals, fruit juices with tea/coffee and... More

What a find ... a great value B&B in a stunning location with many walks from the doorstep. As mentioned by other reviews, the hosts were very friendly and supportive – but not “over the top”. Rooms were excellent with a decent shower for after a long walk. Breakfast was top quality, very enjoyable and relaxed. We really appreciated the... More

We recently stayed at Riverside and found it to be wonderful. Very welcoming and relaxed - the hosts couldn't do enough for us. Lovely room and brilliant breakfast with eggs laid from their own chickens who wander freely in the garden. Beautiful walks nearby. Excellent!

Our experience at Riverside B and B was absolutely perfect. We were on a short break with relations who were visiting from Australia. Our hosts Roger and Jane welcomed us on the 23rd April where we spent two nights in peace and tranquillity. Riverside is a spacious house full of character. Our comfortable bedroom at the back overlooked a garden... More

We liked the place very much so returned. Beautifully quiet location perfect for exploring the dales. A pub walking distant away. Spotless rooms. Lovely fresh breakfast ( watch the chickens out the window whilst you eat their eggs!). Roger, a charming host. We hope to return again soon.

2 years since we last stayed and very pleased to report that Roger continues to offer a warm welcome with helpful advice when needed. Substantial breakfast is beautifully cooked and presented, tasty, organic and locally sourced (the eggs from their own hens) and a great start to a days walking from the door. We have stayed over several long weekends... More

We've been back several times and always experience the same warm welcome. Roger and Jayne offer simple and attentive service without being over fussy. The rooms are comfortable and warm and great to return to afetr a wet day in the peaks. Roger even stored our bikes in his garage
