We had a lovely 4 nights in La Maribelle 2. Barbara made our stay a most memorable one. Our wine tour was a special treat. A cooking/pasta making lesson and sharing dinner with Barbara in our apartment was one of the highlights of our trip. The location of Monticchiello was great for exploring Tuscany. What a beautiful area and charming... More

#1 is a two bedroom, second level apt. Enclosed in an enchanting town that cars do not generally drive through. You climb a narrow stairway to enter the charming kitchen/sitting room, that has up-to-date appliances, well supplied pots and dishes, cotton curtains, garden view, traditional furniture. One bedroom is cozy along with modern cozy bathroom. Beds are comfortable. Lots of... More

We spent 6 days in Monticchiello; what a fabulous location. Views were stunning....people friendly and some of the best dining around. Barbara met us at a prearranged time, gave us the once around on the appartment and amenities...then let us know she was only 15 minutes away and a phone call should we need anything. She is very welcoming, wonderfully... More

We loved it here! The village is super charming and beautiful. We stayed here with our three kids. They loved the village, running up and down the narrow streets. We found the house to be very comfortable and Barbara was an angel. She was super accommodating and helpful. I would absolutely return and stay here again.

We are a couple traveling with our adult daughter and we stayed in Mirabelle 3, both the units for five nights in mid September just as weather cooled down. Our experience was totally different from other reviews, it was the most uncomfortable, dirty, and poorly maintained apartment in over four months of travel in Italy. The owner met us promptly... My mother & I recently returned from a 10-day vacation of a lifetime to Italy & were so fortunate to have chosen Monticchiello as our home base & more importantly, Le Maribelle 3 for our week long stay in Toscana. After researching the various towns in Toscana, it was Le Maribelle that sold us on Monticchiello!!! It was the perfect... More

We have been staying in Le Maribelle 2 every May since 2003. A perfect and peaceful location in a tiny town with sweeping views of the Val d'Orcia. A full kitchen, comfortable king-size bed, and a large private terrace with views over an olive grove/ small vineyard make this apartment wonderful for a relaxing. Close to all the famous sights... We returned to stay here in November 2010 for our 4th visit! We have also previously stayed in the other apartment owned by the lovely owner (Barbara) and it is impossible to praise the accommodation highly enough. Everything has been thought about to make your stay perfect in everyway and nothing is too much trouble for Barbara and her extremely... More

My family and I had discovered Monticchiello on a 2009 visit to Tuscany and I pledged that I'd return there for a week someday. So in late October, 2010, I traveled alone and spent seven nights in Monticchiello, the guest of Barbara who lives in nearby Montepulciano and owns the three "Le Maribelle" apartments in this tiny village of about... Our week stay in Le Maribelle 3 was the absolute highlight of our 3 week trip to Italy. We stayed upstairs in the main unit while my brother and wife stayed in the other apartment. Each was absolutely charming. Each morning we would meet for coffee in the wonderful main floor or take our coffee out to the lovely little... More
