Hotel has two sections and we stayed (2 rooms) in what must be the older section. Bathroom had mould, not surprising since there was no fan or window. No A\C and one window was missing a crank so you had to go outside to pull it open or push it closed. The kitchen door opened towards our rooms and you... More

We stayed in the older part of the hotel (which gave us a view of the harbour as requested). The rear has been renovated and I'm sure the furniture is newer there. While very clean, the finishes were old. That's my only criticism. There is a restaurant in the lobby which was very good and reasonably priced with friendly staff.... More

My Dad and I went to St. Pierre for a wine tasting weekend in April and had a fabulous time. We stayed in the motel part and our room was renovated nicely. Some of the standard rooms are perp show but our's was nice. Hotel I'sle de France was a lovely supper spot as was le Feu du Braise. Great... More

The hotel robert..saved what could have been a bit of a disaster....st johns was booked with conventions and had no rooms..so I took a flier and hoped on the plane to St Pierre...the folks at the tourist bureau were great and pointed me in several directions...I ended up at the hotel Robert..centrally located...on the waterfront...and walkable to everything...the hotel was... There were so many weird and awful things about this hotel. We stayed in a superior suite and there was no chain on the door - only a door handle lock - resulting in a maid opening the door and walking in while I was half-dressed. The "secure" luggage room was accessible to anyone who walked in off the street... More

Our family (2 adults-2 children) stayed at L'Hotel Robert for the Labour Day weekend. We had one of the renovated rooms. Other than the Wi-Fi being a little unreliable, the room was comfortable, quiet, tasteful, and very clean. We had an excellent stay at this hotel, and on the island in general. Collectively, our family ate a total of 28... More

Hotel Robert wasn't my first choice, but travelling with 2 adults and 2 toddlers we needed a room with two separate double beds and none of the other place I contacted could accomodate that. All the superior rooms were already booked so we ended up in a standard non-renovated room. Honestly, it was pretty run of the mill for a... More

I had a "superior" room and it exceeded all my needs. A recent remodel that was well done. It was easy for me to use the wifi. The staff was helpful ( in English) in the gift shop, front desk, and resturant . During the 25km run / festival in Miquelon I had the whole town / island to myself... More

Had reservation and had to cancel unexpectantly due to a unforseen death in the family during our travel forcing us to change our plan and make arrangements to return immediately for funeral arrangements which had no choice but to cancel hotel reservations. Although I had to cancel with very little notice, I expected some compasion and understanding for this unforseen... More

We wanted to stay one night in St Pierre, but most places wanted 2 or more nights booking so we had to settle for L'Hotel Robert. It is overpriced, old and run down. At least the water was hot for our morning showers. St Pierre it's self is well worth the effort. There is one crossing each day from Fortune... More
