We spent one night, the house was quiet and the breakfast was nothing over the top but delicious. The house itself is amazing. We unfortunately did not have the time to kayak but the option was there which was nice. The only downfall is no restaurants being close have to drive into antigonish.

This review is long overdue, Victor and his wife are some of the most gracious hosts. The stay was restful, the home was charming and the experience was incomparable. We will return again and have been inspired to the simple lifestyle and joy found from our time at the Blue tin roof. My husband and I went on a walk... More

really nice and healthy breakfast choices. cute rooms and great patio area. the owners make a fridge available and have filtered water for your pleasure. nice to meet them and hear their story of how they got there, also nice that they don't have a 2 minimum because we would have never found out about it

We stayed in the Blue tin roof b&b on our way from cape breton to PEI. It is a very scenic route to get there, we even saw a fox and a deer. No restaurants on the way so we had dinner in Antigonish (mother Webbs, nice ribs). The b&b is in the most beautiful spot overlooking the forest. At... More

We stayed with Victor and Nadine for one night and could not have been happier. We opted for a room on the bottom floor which was private, spacious and beautifully furnished. Victor and Nadine put lots of effort into designing and building their custom home and it makes for a unique and welcoming place to spend your time. Victor also... More

My wife and I took a road trip from Boston to Cape Breton, NS in November for our anniversary. As we were searching for stops along the way, we came across The Blue Tin Roof on Trip Advisor. While it was a bit out of the way from our route (about 30 min drive from Antigonish), the accommodations and reviews... More

We enjoyed our one night stay to Blue Tin Roof after coming across on the ferry from PEI and taking the scenic drive along the Cape George route to this BnB. Can't miss the blue tin roof!!! This is an architect's delight in the design and manner in which this home was built! We had the Lakeside Room with a... More

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was well presented and immaculate. Thoughtfully planned for group of 2. Unique special touches to decor. Just an easy 8 minute walk to local beach, beautiful sunsets. Pleasant outdoor seating area to take in the evening air. Out of the way location, however, just a lovely rural setting. Victor suggested... More

We first met Victor on the phone, calling him from one of Canada's great visitors centers. It was about 5 PM, but he graciously welcomed us to his B&B and his last available room for the night. He even made suggestions for a dinner stop along the way because the B&B is about 30K from the town of Antigonish with... More

I reserved on the morning of my expected stay not realizing how far outside Antigonish it was. I called around 8pm to cancel and was charged the full fee to my credit card. Called a few weeks later to ask if I could make a reservation and use the amount I had been charged. The owner Victor hung up on... More

Get2Bed, Owner at Blue Tin Roof Bed & Breakfast, responded to this review

The client called mid afternoon to book a room. We had 1 room available. The client requested a discount. We declined and the client responded by saying she would call back. The client called to reserve the room. Client called the day of check in between 8-9 pm and said that they would not be arriving and asked if she... More
